GUYS WHAT WAS THAT???

I did think the first two minutes was a little pedestrian especially being pre-recorded despite having lovely vocals and a gorgeous all white aesthetic but...

 

Then YA YA came in and damn it was FIRE from there...

 

The vocals, dancing (line dancing for the first time!), general energy - she gave us so much, the all-white aesthetic, all the formations from the dancers and the band's formations, the band, the lights, the sets, the outfits, blue - maybe her best performance ever??? That's probably hyperbole but it's definitely up there with her best in my opinion.

This was perfection. Her voice was on point and I live for the arrangements - like Blackbiird and THE outro She was going HARD on Buckiin and loved when she screamed "She comin" and "She gone"

Yes, frankly, my opinion right now is that I like it a bit more than the 2013 real SB or just on par. 

It was extraordinary. 

I was planing on going to sleep right after and here I am still up lol. 

Here's what I think:

 

Tour announcement in January, and then maybe the tour begins in April. And just before the tour begins, she releases act iii.

 

Basically what she did with announcing Formation World Tour before Lemonade was released, and then the album came out a few days before the tour began.

 

Those Halloween looks and "it's time to sing a new song hinted" very clearly toward act iii from my perspective (as we have good reason to think it's gonna be rock). To me, it would be sorta strange to have those hints toward act iii but then not start the era for a while. Furthermore, didn't she subliminally suggest that Cowboy Carter wouldn't have a tour in the Levii's Jeans ad?

 

Alas, no matter what happens I know it's gonna slay. That performance this evening was INCREDIBLE. one of her best ever no doubt!

Whew, her talent surpasses everyone from her generation and the current one. Not her being rumored to announce a new tour at the same time Nintendo is rumored to unveil the Switch 2.

I agree - SB 2013 was great but I think the visuals were a step up this time - there was truly something different happening every few seconds.

even in her yeehaw era she still snappin. 

 

I'm not convinced it's a tour yet. If It's a tour, why not announce it tonight, dates didn't need to be announced, just the ad/poster.
