FIrst rewatch after the live and she absolutely DEMOLISHED Texas Hold Em, 10/10 from start to finish.

That would've eaten on a traditional promo schedule at award shows.

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

One of the best things about this performance was the way she moved across the field. Maybe not as exciting for those seeing it live but it looked great on the screen.

I was reading a forum, a straight leaning one and one of them mentioned how they loved how she's really the centerpiece and spectacle of it all, how this was better than most recent overproduced SB halftimes even though they don't listen to her. :gaycat2:

What if it's just a netflix special BTS of the SB and then the performance :deadbanana:

Ugh why does this seem realistic

Why not release it tomorrow then? :ninja: I think we might get a trailer of whatever it is on January 1st, she probably didn't want to eclipse the performance.

Again, it doesn't make sense to announce the announcement of a tour. Unless it's different, like a residence.

Maybe it's not finished. They could be adding scenes after she comes off stage?

None of it makes sense to me as nearly 3 weeks away loses a bit of the hype/buzz after tonight.

the teaser shows her in a stadium field so it's either a stadium tour announcement (which doesn't really make sense as others said but what the hell, sure)

or it's just the performance + netflix special/bts coming on the 14th, hence the coming soon and her having the same hair and similar outfit than during the performance :rip:

either way, whatever it is… why not just say what it is like ?

Im still pissed at that intro. Thats sth u do in an acoustic setting at the Grammys live and not prerecorded and not for such a show. It felt totally out of place and killed the vibe as an opener.. Im honestly shocked at how Bey cosigned this. I've never seen her miss with a concept like that tbh

She did the p-funk sign during Buckiin' (when talking about bulls) when she could've done the Houston sign. :celestial5:

GREAT PERFORMANCE!

As for the announcement.

Logic has me thinking it's simply a Cowboy Carter Tour.

But...

I could see it being a bait and switch. The horse transforms into a different iteration of the horse in the teaser and the Act III era is upon us.

I think the Netflix special is something else and then on that day she will announce Act III. She doesn't want to outshine this moment. Let's not forget people, this was viewed worldwide and the focus should be on Cowboy Carter still.

I've seen resounding positive takes from the GP re her performance. We're the only ones being critical of the opening

But what is that font?

Doesn't match CC at all

I dont think people know how difficult it is to perform in an open football field and for some of it she was in motion WHILE performing. Beyoncé makes it look so easy that people really believe it is that easy lol. For some current pop acts, even standing still without moving, they struggle.  This venue as a whole seems tricky enough so i think she chose the songs that would translate well live in that stadium.  AR i feel would make more sense during the tour when she has time to carry out the entire song. Some songs are just not right to cut short during a medley. Also, Yaya, can we talk about that song? i knew it would be something else live and i was right but even this doesn't take it further enough, she will completely destroy on tour!

That font for 1.14.25 is definitely giving act iii…

It's not - it's the font for the Beyoncé Bowl logo which is what they're calling this performance. This isn't gonna be Act III.

Agree that Ya Ya was amazing but definitely will be elevated even more with a full performance.

so many songs on this album rlly need time to build and breathe, which makes a medley challenging. Whereas a medley of dance music from Rennie would have been a walk in the park to compose

Anyone else catch the mixing of the Single Ladies siren into RIIVERDANCE?? Genius

I am still so annoyed by her not including Tyrant.

Y'all need to rewatch the my house section. Blue was EATING in the back.

Considering it uses the Netflix Beyoncé Bowl Font, Netflix matched her Bio with "Look at that Horse", the assistant director who worked on Homecoming retweeted it with a '🎥', *and* LiveNation retweeted,

this is most likely going to be a BTS documentary containing the actual performance, which shows her discussing the album itself AND the making of the halftime show. And it ends with her announcing a tour.

this serves as good fodder for Grammy voters, fulfils one of her Netflix deals AND explains all the confusion

Ok so Netflix confirmed that Beyoncé Bowl is being added later this week. Which means whatever is coming on 1.14 is something different...
