I've been listening to IASF a lot lately and it really is a good album, especially the ballads. I know a lot of us put it at the bottom of our rankings (and I do too) but it's not a bad album, because Beyoncé just… doesn't have bad albums. Even as her 'worst' album it's still a 8.5 or 9 out of 10.

I just read that Chardonneigh is a Lipizzan horse, which are known for being the only breed of horse that are born black and then turn white the older they get. I am GAGGED at this level of attention to detail (and the layers that result because of it)

Yes, it's a marvelous project.

 

Real instrumentation has finally been brought back onto a Beyoncé album (!!!). Hence a good chunk of people, even casual listeners and non fans, are supporting this era.

The more I listen to CC, the more I realize that a great deal of vocals have been recorded very recently.

 

Just compare Flamenco to Break My Soul and notice how the former lacks the unnaturally darker tone, which by the way used to be omnipresent during the Homecoming/The Gift era.
