Still boggles my mind they think promoting the film through what is essentially an official fan update account is a genius move. Hunny anyone who follows Parkwood either already bought tickets or knows extensively about the film but isn’t going to buy for one reason or another. The “promo” won’t do **** there.

 

And when you go to her IG the film trailer isn’t even pinned The poster being so bland makes the thumbnail to the trailer get lost within the rest of her feed. Completely brainless people over at that company. Any first year marketing student would be more suited.

If it's a Homecoming style "film", then probably not. 

 

If it's got actual elements of the visuals, with actors etc, there may be an issue. 

 

Most likely, the Parkwood social thing is probably just a way to spam-promote the movie (which I'm here for) rather than Bey doing it herself. 

 

There's a huge differential in her following and Parkwood's but it's...something.

She still thinks that it’s 2013 when Hive ran social media and did everything for her.
 

Any predictions for the film opening weekend? Going by a 4x multiplier of the first day presale like that other film, she’ll open around $25M. I would like for her to beat Bieber who opened with $29M. Anything above $40M would make massive headlines imo

$25-35m I'm guessing. $50m is not happening according to that movie forum. 

 

The fact the trailer for her concert film features like.... no music. Just the same moody and mysterious atmosphere people have come to expect. 

 

 

And we still have no international dates.

 

I'm not even part of negative Hive but they're seriously such a mess and in over their heads.

oh hush, she is challenging industry norms. she is Beyoncé. You love her or you hate her. If you want to see this film, you don’t need a trailer. You have seen the viral tiktoks, you know what to expect. Be grateful she is releasing this. I love that she is doing it on her own. Y’all never happy. Imagine if she FWT DVD’d this? It's true. It mastered really annoyingly low  It doesn't make my headphones bump and shake as much as I need them to, even when playing with EQ settings and turning up the bass it's just not loud

To be honest, not much on the negative side as I am so grateful we're getting a film at all but Beyoncé's roll outs, team and online presence do not reflect the professionalism that would be expected for a big artist. Let alone someone of her caliber. It's a bit weird but she's surviving despite that somehow.
