  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Doing EVERYTHING solo only satiates pride for both the artist and the people observing/consuming that art. Its usually worse off for it

After seeing so many tik toks of that lady’s fanbase tweaking out in theaters, is it wrong that I don’t want anyone acting a fool when I watch the film? I completely understand that these films are concerts and you want to re-experience the feeling of being at the concert again or even for the first time, but people are doing wayyyyy too much. This is a movie theatre, there are other people watching movies, do not scream hoot and holler and stomp around, where is the decorum??? Maybe I’m just being a hater, but if I see a line of people start doing the My Power choreo-:deadbanana2:

nnn I skimmed through it to decide if I want to actually pay for it :deadbanana2: I saw her tour for free from floor seats so... I'm not paying for that film.

I hope the photoshoot is true even though the focus will mainly be on her products she will for sure tease the next music project somewhere in the interview, I can’t wait to serve detective:jonny5:

like I don’t need it to be totally film-quiet because duh it’s a different atmosphere, but getting up to perform little Midsommar ritual circles and bows is entirely too much

from the amount of people making embarrassing videos about “when she says mute you MUTE or I’ll kick your ass!” I don’t have much hope though :toofunny2:

I don't think RWT film is going to be messy in theaters. It's having BTS clips too, just like Homecoming, rather than a complete film like that other movie. So she pretty much forced us to be engaged and actually WATCH as opposed to doing satanic rituals in the theater.

Speak for yourself! I specifically am hoping for a Bey Hive experience!

I’m going opening night cuz I want my whole theater belting out DIL and 1+1. I want everybody to go nuts when Cozy starts, get annoyed when she doesn’t actually sing sweet dreams, doing the Diva dance break, screaming for Blue, belting out BILG and LOT, destroying our vocal cords trying to do the DrIL riff. All of the things!

I hope yall plan on going to a Sunday showing during church hours if you wanna sit in silence.

this is what I'm expecting for opening night. I'm going to an IMAX screening that is fully sold out (and was about 80% sold out at midnight when she announced the film).

I might go to a Sunday morning screening to revisit it and really take it all in later.

I hope it’s barely a concert. I want about 2 hours of behind the scenes with select footage of meaningful renaissance song performances spliced in

I’m most looking forward to seeing the behind the scenes aspect and I would love to see how she decided to create the theme for the show, the rehearsals, the initial/scrapped concepts,  I really hope the film highlights her attention to details and the work ethic, every time I watch life is but a dream or year of 4 i’m left feeling so motivated.

she's going to show 20 second bts clips between performances :rip:

I know it’s a longshot but I’d love to find out why exactly she cut the Memories segment for most of the run

like I’m ecstatic I got it for my show but I’m also nosy just like my investigative other fave, Toucanne Sam

I really hope that's the case. I will be annoyed if people start acting like this is the actual concert. I wanna be focused on the movie on my first watch: see what outfits are featured, hear the live vocals she chose for it, etc.

worst case scenario: she reveals the CUFF IT dress from the Balmain collection and that's it

the way we collectively forgot about that thing, her included :deadbanana4:

I probably won't see it in theaters, but if I did, I would want there to be excitement and LIFE in the theatre. It's not some slow paced art film (hopefully :ninja:) to be analyzed and watched in  silence. The latter will be an option later when people watch it at home anyway. So if you ask me I would wish the dancing and the shenanigans welcome. I think people want an experience going to the movies, we saw that with Barbie too where so many people dressed for the occasion and made a night out of it.

this must be an american thing cause i don’t expect nor want anyone to stand up and dance in a theater like wtf :biblionana:

if a single person’s jumping around screeching in front of that screen trust security will be called

Obviously I don’t want it to be complete funeral silence I’m not trying to be the fun police here:clack:

But if you start doing cartwheels and ring around the rosies at the front row and all I here is YOU screaming love on top then I’m calling security to escort you. I paid $30 to see mother perform not the hive

I wouldn’t be surprised if the silver balmain look she wore during the Renaissance segment on tour was the Cuff It look. The concept low key fits

Most of her fanbase are adults, I really don't think they'll be hollering at the showings for the most part. But any weird behaviour definitely won't be universal as it has been for the Eras showings :rip:

People were not recording with flash nor screaming watching Barbie, it’s really not the same. I’m okay with people singing or dancing as long as they don’t ruin my experience. I’ll probably go by myself the first time and there’s no way I’m gonna be dancing and screaming with strangers for two hours in a movie theatre while completely sober. I want it to be like when I watched the show in lives from instagram but with the screen and sound quality of a proper cinema. I can’t get that at home either and that should be respected too.

I hope the behind the scenes footage expands on her rehearsing some of these gems that didn’t make the official setlist.

I agree! I think the safest way for you to achieve that would be to go to a matinee showing

i find this so interesting

Dangerously in Love not even being considered but becoming the opening song, Resentment & MM&I being circled as top choices yet not making the cut (i know it’s tired but i would’ve loved Resentment, it’s always a vocal gag), dancers being considered for I Care, Freedom, Spirit etc but she ended up doing it alone, I Was Here being referenced multiple times but not making it, same for Irreplaceable…

also her rubbing it in our faces that she scrapped 6 Inch from Coachella was a different kind of nasty
