I want to believe she's going to the met but there's like a less than 1% chance of that happening right? there's really nothing to discuss in the base right now and CC came out less than two months ago… this is crazy

I don't want to get my hopes up from the last been country update tbh but a tour announcement asap would be ideal

I try to ignore the streams because it's just… the 76m debut and the 20+ songs really made me think she had gotten herself her own SOS no signs of a cuff it where being tik tok viral is translating into streams the rest of her discography also losing streams like if you aren't gonna stream her new stuff at least stream the old hits come on gp Texas hold em's initial smashery really jinx'd the whole era. at least she's still holding on (well the best she can while being neglected by her de*dbeat mother)

it's a shame that visuals are a dying medium because we know she likely spends A LOT on them (compared to the average star) and I remember an article which stated that streaming services are unsure about picking them up since the visuals are allegedly weird and streaming services are struggling right now. I wouldn't be surprised if she decided not to release them if she couldn't make a decent financial return on them. I'm hoping this isn't the case im also wondering if it's a full blown movie movie with dialogue and stuff - not just a visual and that's why it's taking so long????? But yea I ultimately agree unless these visuals really shake the table and revive interest in music videos in general it won't make noise outside the super online Beyhive. I'm praying she goes back to regular MVs once the trilogy is done I'm just so over it all lol The fact that Nadia Lee cohen is a director is super intriguing to me and I'm really curious how CC ties in with renaissance because I've literally not come across any theories that tie the two except for the whole "reclaiming" genres thing (which Beyoncé never actually stated - this was a narrative pushed by the hive). If the visuals for each album are completely separate and unrelated from each other then it would make no sense for Beyoncé to withhold renaissance's which makes me think it'll all be connected (which unfortunately means more waiting for us)

why are her 2020 eras so bad? Like sure the 2010s werent handled as well as the 2000s for a pop titan but they were still interesting at the very least. It's just so… boring. If this was in-between eras then whatever, but we literally got an album less than two months ago and all we have are those annoying website updates and incomplete physicals. It just comes across as so meh I really want act 3 to come out this year tbh so she can tour asap! But at the same time if act 3 actually is rock and I end up loving it, it would suck to see it mishandled like act 1 and 2. why talk about how much love and care you've put into the music but then act so indifferent towards it once it's released? Renaissance leaving BB200 next week is just sad not even 100 weeks - it deserves better. I fear CC might end up having the same fate unless she has some things planned (which tbh she likely doesn't other than another tour)

I don't have another "the gift" era in me omggggg. I'm so happy for Blue tho!! Apparently lin manuel is producing the soundtrack so maybe we'll get music just from that but you never know with bey tbh

agree with the ppl who think she's over the whole pop star thing. I think she'll still release music but it'll be like every 5-8 years once the trilogy is done - and she'll focus on cecred similar to Rihanna and her ventures. Being a fan is just really frustrating because I didn't really start stanning until 2019 (homecoming was literally the soundtrack of my life for a while) so experiencing eras like the gift, renaissance and now CC BACK to BACK is just sad icl. If she's gonna tour act 2 and 3 together then CC will literally get nothing except for a flop second single like at least do a tiny desk or one weekend only intimate concert The eras never do the music any justice. some ppl might think it's dumb but the most iconic eras which are looked back on the most fondly (and have the most longevity over time) are the fully fleshed out ones. An album drop, 2 singles (without music videos mind you) and a "world" tour that only went to North America and Europe is NOT an era idc. Agreed with everyone on the lack of visuals really hurting her success - I mean it's no surprise that the most memorable and beloved part of the renaissance era is the tour where we see the music come to life through visual spectacle, performance and imagery! I love renaissance the album but the fact that I was able to see her perform it live gives the era an extra nostalgic, emotional feel for me Also do you guys think the visuals will live up to the hype? I fear the long wait is gonna have the opposite effect where no matter how good they are ppl are gonna be like "we really waited this long for this?" or even worse - no one, except for a few, is gonna care once they're out

yeah I was wondering why II most wanted isn't taking off. I agree with other users that a music video with strong storytelling elements would've helped. plus I think the time of year is affecting it too tbh. agreed with everyone about bodyguard. It would be perfect as a single at this time of year and it's clearly ahead of the other tracks other than Texas when it comes to consumption. I swear the lack of visuals is hurting so many songs' chances of becoming hits. I know ppl say visuals are irrelevant but I genuinely think they'd help a LOT more than ppl think. Same thing with renaissance songs back when they first came out. do you guys think there's ANY chance they're coming this year? I'd rather get them first before act 3 tbh

now that it's been a bit and CC has settled for me. Renaissance is better than CC which I had felt after my initial listen. Ren has higher highs plus there's no song as bad as spaghetti CC has better lyrics/storytelling overall though but renaissance is the more interesting record. Plus I do like quite a few songs on CC but there aren't any that I love as deeply as AS, Move, AHAP etc. after the first week of REN's release AS and Move were both in my top 15 Beyoncé songs ever which is kinda crazy but they were The album length hurts the album when it comes to replay value for me honestly so I just tailor it down to exactly what I want. I really don't like the interludes :/// there's strong material there it just needed further editing In an alternate reality where Beyoncé still cared deeply about her rollouts Bodyguard, Tyrant, and Ii most wanted would be smash hits. And American requiem and alligator tears would be cult classics à la alien superstar. Just for fun has grown on me quite a bit too. Lyrical standout alongside daughter and alligator tears imo the physicals situation is such a mess. especially because loyal fans are the main ones being affected.
