Paris could miss out on the tracks if the show starts late. Stockholm had the same 23:30 curfew and we all saw what happened during the second date.

Tbh I am not much a choreo girl, I don't stan for that although it's cute and elevates songs. 

Therefore this tour is already my 2nd favorite after TBE. And my 3rd fave show after TBE and Glastonbury. Then again I can only judge when I'll be there, maybe the energy will be less than IAWT or MCSWT but I doubt it. I also like it better than Beychella, I don't know about FWT, I didn't get a ticket and I didn't watch the show online and there's no DVD so... but Beychella although a musical highlight had too many songs cut short. It's annoying. Musically though, it's untouchable. The musical mashups and intermissions on Beychella are on a level this tour just doesn't come close to.

My few "objections" with the tour are :

- the setlist, I love the ballads but I think some are random : Flaws & All (which is not even good), RDY (performed with the other ballads, OK, central point of the tour? No)and I'm Going Down could have been replaced by Irreplaceable, All Night/PYCM/Listen/Disappear/even IIWAB etc and Halo to get the European fans something. Also would have liked a huge entrance with an uptempo before the ballad section. I was also looking forward to DrIL. The section with Lift Off, BP, Savage is so very US-centric. 

- the mashups are not that good : Pure/Honey doesn't sound like the masterpiece that it is, SD in AS doesn't work and whatever they did with Virgo's Groove made it bland and it doesn't hit. The high notes and the huh just feel like a no event. And AHAP is such a letdown, I don't even click on videos where she is wearing the Bee's outfits anymore.

- she barely goes to CR, although it is called Club Renaissance, some performances also happen in one spot and she doesn't move around the stage. 

 

What I adore : 

- The VOCALS : they really shine, she's singing her heart out, even when she drops a key (which is smart for the preservation if her voice), it's just marvelous. 

- Dangerously In Love!!!!! It feels me with such happiness that it's in the setlist. It's a classic and should be treated as such. 1+1 is one of my favorite songs so it has been a moment most pleasing to me and will be even more pleasant on June 8th. 

- Heated : the OUTRO being sung from one spot and completely is exactly what I wanted!!! I will enjoy it so much!! AUIYM was such a highlight on the first show. I didn't expect the performance to be sooo good. 

- Performing the whole album in order is exactly what I wanted and with the exception of my top 2  songs ( ) and my #4 song (as highlighted above), everything is flawless , really. My two other top 5 mainly Cozy and ITG are a moment! 

- I have never felt the need for her to "show personality" or whatever so it's a moot point for me but it's cool that she's smiling. 

- in the end I like the outfits more than I thought initially : the bodysuit and the colorful outfits are stunning. 

- Before I Let Go's inclusion. 

 

I can't wait for Barcelona.

I wish they would at least send a song, preferably AS or Heated, to radio and add it on a few playlists. I want a single and since they are no videos, no other form of promo, the tour would be its only promo.

That's kinda my issue with it, some performances are truly amazing while others feel a bit undercooked. But this is also the first time she's doing a full album, and a 16 tracks long one at that, so maybe that plays a role too. 

Oh I wasnt aware. I didnt watch the entire Show since I want to get surprised here and there at least and non of the Vogue parts went viral (to my knowledge)

Cozy - 9/10

BMS Aqua - 10/10

BMS silver - 6/10

Church Girl witch clams - 7/10

Church girl metalic - 8.5/10

Opulence - 2/10

Virgo's Groove - 10 10 10 across the board

I can't find if there is any curfew for the Marseille date... Every links point towards the curfew we had in France, back during COVID.

I have one "Complaint " ; I think she should skip/ change " I care " on the Set List...its kinda Random and vocally to taxing imo and dont love the arrangement / semi tone lower tbh ( and its actually one of my fave B songs )  . I Think putting "Irreplaceable " / " Halo " /" All Night / "Stand Up for Love " / "Broken Hearted Girl " / "Listen " / instead would be better .

She danced too much during FWT which hindered a lot of potential vocal moments. It was megamix after megamix with a few viral remixed songs for dance breaks. It wasn't until we finally got crumbs which was Me Myself and I. She also cut out Sweet Dreams from the first shows, which had the operatic vocals.

 

I do hope that KNEE gets better and she continues refining until she reaches the states, bc ngl I do want a little more choreography and kinda miss that untouchable goddess vibes y'all were referring to. But I guess it's good that she's more personable/engaging this show which makes sense bc this is supposed to feel like a celebration (and Gen Z is eating it all up on TikTok, personality IN.. goddess persona OUT ). This shows like a cute mix between TBE and FWT in vocals, production, theme. If she happens to extend this tour for ACT II for her Rock/Country album, I'm begging for Sex on Fire.  I'm also crying at the AUIYM/Thique cut complaints when it was like a consensus that these were the weakest songs off the album. This show is unexpected in every way.

Like the article said, they are drumming up the right kind of buzz and telling a meaningful brand story from the get-go. I liked Ivy Park, but I always felt it was more suited to the Bey from B'Day-IASF. The time of all those BTS rehearsal clips and her showing us more of her preparation process. It was kind of odd that she was touting athleisure when she was showing us the least of what would be her wearing it in her natural element...like BTS rehearsals lol.

 

Also, we all go up and down in shape, but it was also kinda odd seeing her peddling sportswear at her least athletic (as a performer).

 

I say all of this to say, I wouldn't call IVP an outright mistake, but THIS feels like a much better fit. 

 

It's super aligned with her brand and has no comparable celebrity competition that her level of pull can't match and surpass (though Tracee Ellis Ross' Pattern Beauty does have a lead).

 

The Tina involvement had me kinda confused initially and wanting her NOT to put herself in a House of Dereon situation again. But it's kinda smart. It aligns with the brand's genesis story and probably will be a way of taking "some" of the promotional weight off her hands (TV show appearances). 

 

Yes, we want the visuals etc, but as someone who is really intrigued about the "business" of Beyonce, I'm really interested to see what she has up her sleeve with this. 

 

All artists of today, even the biggest ones, are clocking on to the need for a viable side hustle. Stadium tours are a huge money maker but are hinged on the notoriously unpredictable momentum of musical popularity. It's also grueling and time-consuming. I'm no one's Navy, but Rihanna has shown the modern girls and guys that one can make piles of passive income with:

 

* an authentic product that fills a market void

* the right corporate partners

* and savvy marketing

 

Beyonce's everything over the last 10+ years has been about working smarter not harder and establishing a successful side hustle aligns with that. 

The Tina involvement will cost this line to flop.. no shade. And will turn the main consumers away from buying it. Ms. Tina is 70 I don’t want no product marketing towards  her audience

Tina is what gives the brand credibility. I highly doubt they're gonna have her in ads doing the Electric Slide and trying to use her as the face of it.

 Beyonce doing the actual science will give the brand credibility..  we thought her being involved with HOD would make magic and we seen how that turned out…im a lil iffy
