When’s the last time a major artist toured anywhere in Africa? It’s not surprising at all. Brazil and Australia, yes, but she hasn’t been to either  in over a decade now

I didn't want to mention this because I know it means nothing and I don't like to generalize. But on the train back from the airport last week I saw two girls wearing Eras Tour t-shirts while I wore my RWT hat and we stared daggers at each other from Newark to Penn Station. They looked so much like stereotypical Taylor stans it was bordering on parody.

if I had my own theories…I’d say the growing lack of respect as a vocalist over recent years has had more influence for this tour than her just having fun on stage. B/c how can you hear DIL, 1+1, I Care, Flaws & All back to back and be reduced to “just a performer”? 

If this was the case, she would put out album that showcase her vocals and perform on tv not just doing 4 songs on tour. That’s not where the people that disrespect her will experience the vocals.

She’s done several of those and has done a multitude of live performances. She’s going back to showing the balance in her concerts where the stigma comes from.

It’s not just “haters”…it’s locals & GP who got tickets based off her reputation as an entertainer who will come away with experiencing Beyonce shining as a vocalist in a way they may have never been exposed to
