It wouldn't even be her best pre recording though

It sounds like she's preserving her voice

I mean you can see her almost miss a cue

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Are we all in agreement that Cozy had the best performance?

Definitely top 2. I was not expecting that :dies:

I feel justified with Cozy being one of my faves off Renaissance, she did it JUSTICE

another look at the film which is heavily featured in this interlude

1) Didn't even realize that was Blue in the thumbnail bc she's so grown

2) Looks like at some point in BMS, the bus she gets on (after quitting her job?) teleports her to a cathedral to finish out the song and transition into Church Girl

I don’t know what y’all are talking about, I absolutely loved the show, and her performance was amazing.

I hear and see the commentary on the lack of dancing and then I scroll by videos like this and you can see how Beyoncé is taking it easy but Sasha is fighting to daaaaaance :rip:

Honestly I think I was a bit too critical while watching live (I still loved the show), I blame my hatred of flaws and all. But this is for real an amazing show

How was the show up close and personal?

A religious experience. She hovered right above my head at the end. I could see the loose threads dangling from her cape. I was under Beyoncé.

This was overwhelming to experience for the first time. The second time, I will revel in it.

This is a marathon especially if she’s planning on visiting Australia and Brazil next year. Im happy she’s pacing herself. You cant do a 3 hour show with heavy choreo. There’s nothing wrong with her, lets stop the conspiracies

This is one of the reasons I think the ballad section was a mistake. She should have peppered them out to pace herself better.

She was dancing down here though…

This setlist will definitely change lol

Im sure by the time she gets to London this will change

She rarely does the same set from the first night throughout a tour .

More like Sasha is fighting to dance but then she remembers what the doctor says.

I honestly think that’s why she starts with the ballads first as the first act. The other acts are heavy on lighting and visual effects, so it allows time for the sun to go down.

That makes so much sense, also because the backdrop for that section opening is the sky at sunset :jonnycat:

I take 3 hours of vocals and stage production over choreo. I haven’t heard her sing like this since TBE, and giving the band time to shine. But, tbh I always thought she would Vogue down and I’m never gonna see her eat a duck walk in this lifetime.

And to think I was mocked about saying she may be more creative and have more on stage props this time. I was right about this show having more props and less choreography!!!  She is serving us something different rather than the usual eight counts and captain of the twerk team.

This is giving visual extravaganza and reminds me of the Kylie and Metropolis inspired Get me Bodied visuals from 07 for those who are true fans and remember

Sweden didn’t deserve her best anyway, Atlanta will deliver. :coffee:. Her vocals were definitely supreme though.

Truthfully I’m fine with the lack of heavy choreo, I was more annoyed at some of the sonic choices: Alien Superstar doesn’t need to be remixed with Sweet Dreams, she removed the best part of Thique, AHAP needs a total redo, and Heated could have used 50% more energy.

Also was not gagged by Les Twins.

i definitely peeped the 06 bet awards get me bodied reference :jonny5:

Her first night performances historically are never THEE greatest. She’s still in her head about things and tweaking the show .

The best shows are usually when her Virgo perfectionist angst disappears somewhere around the middle and end of a tour especially the US leg and London tend to be her most hype crowds and get her best performances

I agree. Even though it gave me life and I’m 100% satisfied with what it was—there were moments [from Beyoncé] that took me out of the element. :rainy:but not me also judging her after a several year break on night one of her world tour

Sweden crowd was cute but us NY and the ATL, LA, CHIRAQ, and Houston crowds finna snap.

Beyoncé has trained us to be her harshest critic :deadbanana4:

Paris & London will probably the best audience for Europe

Saving her energy for  the livest audiences as she should. Black fans are the best
