Bey looks and sounds phenomenal wow.

I know there's kinks that could be worked out since its the first show...but overall it looks great.

My main gripe about this tour though is she's not utilizing the stage well. Her feet are practically GLUED to the center stage by the stairs like damn can you walk around the entire stage. And if she can't walk she needs to install the treadmill to move her around the main stage and around the circle.

I noticed this too. The main stage got the most of it which makes sense tbh, but with the hype, I was expecting Club Renaissance to get more love.

The show was great. Yes she didn’t dance as much as usual but she had more props than ever before. The show is prop heavy which is a departure for her but still KUNTY.
Opening with 4 ballads was a choice but Im looking forward to hearing DIL and Flaws & All so Im not mad.

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

This gon be a rough summer

1. Bey wasn't lacking energy for her over 2-hour set vs. Rih's 12 minutes of dullness :dies:

2. Bey is doing vocal gymnastics, the other is lipping all 12 minutes :deadbanana2:

Every video I watch just gets better. She served on the first show like it was her last :jonny3:I'm just in awe of her vocals, stage presence, the production, the way she interacted with the audience, how amazing she looks :jonny3:i am wigless

We don’t know what about is wrong, the only official thing we have is Chris from Coldplay saying something about her knee, so really it could be that or anything, could be more going on. Either way get used to it.

It’s funny some of y’all are trying to be sympathic now. Y’all literally dragged her for filth re lack of promo and appearances despite  how she performed at Dubai… like it didnt click for y’all that something was wrong at some point? Especially during her Grammy speech. Y’all called us boot lickers but atleast we had some common sense not to come down on her too much

I’m reaching videos on YouTube from a much better angle and they’re 10x better. Mother served hard I’m sorry

I kinda wish they would at least release an official statement, obviously we have people saying she had an injury and surgery and what not, but I think if they could just announce it properly that would do a lot of good to subvert the such high expectations people have for her regarding performing and the elusive visuals. I just need her to talk on stage and say “thank y’all for bearing with my raggedy knee” or whatever, cmon just tell us!:giraffe:

Ok so here's the tea I've been looking for. I knew something was off in her performances. Her energy was way off.

I'm worried this tour will only exacerbate the issue:dancehall3:

My only quibble is I thought Cuff it would be more BOMBASTIC live? I needed Coachella type vibes with that. And Alien Superstar needed to be longer.  And add halo, single ladies on there.

I do see what some are saying about the choreo.

It probably is, but not coming across that way in the live feed. Lol

SL is out if she isn’t gonna do the choreo.

just realized single ladies / halo got the boot for the first time on a tour since they released omg

The Hive has been having the "is her engery off?" conversation since her first performance after giving birth to Blue. Does anyone remember that? The Barclay's Crazy in Love performance? And yet that's never really been the case.

And even on previous tours she has sometimes been lower on the energy scale. As energetic as a performer she is, she also knows when she doesn't need to give all out "I'm on the Super Bowl" complete Sasha-Fierce-abandon.

Also this is the first stop. I have a feeling everything will sharpen up once she gets into the groove of it all. I know someone who worked on the FWT and she said Beyoncé didn't even get on stage until a few days before the tour started. Before she was mainly in the audience watching her stand-in and directing everything. Obviously she would have rehearsed off stage, but I think it could take a bit of time to feel at home in the environment and really feel that "I'm so in my element" *****-energy.

That said, her energy seemed fine she just did less than normal physically.

Also she looks so ******* snatched. This is by far her most creative show ever. Like I am so gagged, I’m glad she saved up all her creativity for this tour honestly. And then the beginning her serving old school songstress diva singing fan favorites OMFG :jonny5: the way I feel like the costumes are gonna change like every single show. We still haven’t seen CUFF IT look yet which lets me know there’s a video we haven’t seen :duca:

For whom? Lol

Anyway there are plenty of pregnant Bey's performances out there. Maybe they should compare with that.

Oh and before I forget, never has she looked more beautiful and womanly and gorgeous and I’m head over heels in love with the old giraffe :heart2:

Haha. That really came across even on the live stream. She looked breathtaking.

I honestly think she's serving more energy (in a way) here than fwt..and certainly otr :rip: she's a lot more free and playful, like she used to be back in the day

These visuals are so cinematic, dare I say her best work so far. Unbelievable.  She managed to perfectly encapsulate what Renaissance looks like in my mind. And the use of technology is so innovative. I need someone to post all the interludes ASAP:jonny6: god I need her to release these visuals

You literally go thread to thread trolling and dragging her. Why do you care?

also she simply performs better with a better audience, too. that's why she loves the UK & US. Europe is her practice run, noah fence.
