Whew, I’ve been up and down but now I’m so excited. I’m excited that she’s doing something different, that we didn’t expect, and now everyone simply has to adjust to. I LOVE THAT FOR US. Giver her time and yourselves to adjust. It’s the first show. There’s a reason I don’t like going to the first 5 stops on any tour. If you watched via a live stream, relax, please. Especially if you don’t even have tickets. Complaining about something you’ve not paid for will always look…special. Relax.

I need Bey to not over exert herself. If she needs to warm up slowly, for a full recovery, so be it. Also, she hasn’t toured like this in awhile. She has to get back into the swing of it. Let sis warm up. I hope her injury isn’t a permanent one. If it is, she’s making up for it the best she can and her best is kinda shitting. If it’s a temp. injury, she doesn’t need to over exert herself too much until she knows she can give it her all without adding extra injury. Just relax. It was the first show and not even giving the Yoncé we’re all use to, she still slayed immaculately through shoddy live streams. Relax. :gaycat4:

Exactly :clap3:

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I'm more worried about how long she can keep up three hours of vocals per show, especially since I'm going to the second NJ date on 7/30 :jonny: Hope she and her team learned sign language so she can rest her voice indefinitely cuz whew

Bey looks and sounds phenomenal wow.

I know there's kinks that could be worked out since its the first show...but overall it looks great.

My main gripe about this tour though is she's not utilizing the stage well. Her feet are practically GLUED to the center stage by the stairs like damn can you walk around the entire stage. And if she can't walk she needs to install the treadmill to move her around the main stage and around the circle.

I’m going to be honest, the lack of heavy choreo made me slightly concerned, like I’m really curious what happened because I feel like she was definitely off. BUT, the show was 2:45 long so I get it, she’s going to want to conserve her energy and she still gave an amazing performance.

I am SPEECHLESS. The visuals were so cinematic, the production and props for this tour are so insane, the setlist was perfect, the outfits were amazing, this was such a pandering to the hive and I loved every moment of it, she checked every box I had for my wish list. I’m glad The Gift got the shine it deserves and that every Rennie song was incorporated into the show, I am BEYOND hyped to see her. I definitely think watching through crappy Ig lives ruined my enjoyment so I think you guys should take that into consideration when judging the show, it’s going to be a different feeling when you’re actually there

After seeing this I’m MUCH more sympathetic about many aspects of this era like visuals, performances, public appearances. Also to performers like Britney who suffered such injuries and never regained their former prowess (extenuating circumstances, I know).

Same. I have been complaining about lack of visuals, promo, etc this entire era but I see now that she is quite literally still healing and readjusting. This is our new normal for now and maybe permanently, I guess.

Makes me wonder if it also affected the timeline of the other acts too.

What's up with Beautiful Liar rising? Did Shakira do something with it, other than her usual Spotify's slayage?

My biggest worry is that the injury might be permanent. It has been nearly 4 months since Dubai, so the alleged surgery must have been over 5 months. I have some experience with knee surgeries and mostly knees recover quite quickly. She is super wealthy with best medic care available. This is why I am suspicious the injury might be serious cause the healing time is just way too long in her case...Hopefully not permanent. But why would she do Dubai and schedule a tour, i do not see any progress in the last 4 months....

I think a lot has bene going on behind the scenes, we simply do not know, we can only guess.  Im convinced this has had effect on the visuals.

It kind of saddens me that she might have peaked with FWT-Beychella, it simply cannot be matched.

On the good note, her voice seems at its best ever.

I do not like the playlist, she needs to change it a bit. It makes no sense not having some of the biggest hits present - bring back halo (her biggest hit that public loves, it is a nice tour moment, her all too well/shallow\i will always love you moment), irreplaceable - people love it, paying dust to IASF makes no sense...

Having said that about the setlist, It seems to me she decided to do songs she really enjoys herself and go with her heart, not calculating, and i do admire that.

I wouldn’t mind if she lipped some parts too. 3 hours of those vocals is rough. That’s her instrument that matters the most.:jonny5:

her not being able to dance is sad, but we can clearly see it is not for lack of trying. She worked HARD to put this tour together, including physical readiness. This is a long, ambitious, taxing show and she glided through it with grace. There are some setlist issues I have but as a whole this debut show is far more cohesive than fwt started out

Y’all think she didn’t do SL simply because she can’t dance to SL? I mean, the whole song is a dance she's always done.

could be, who knows.... but then why did she ignore the rest of the album (halo, if i were a boy etc)

Makes me wonder if the reason because she has not announced South America-Australia is due to her waiting to see how she feels health wise.

‘cause that albums garbage and she finally knows it…

I really feel for her with how frustrating this whole process must have been. She's someone who always gives 110% and being physically unable to do it is probably enraging her.

No one else could've pulled that off like that, though. No one.

The Virgos Groove outfit with the hands covering her tatas and punani SLAYED me:jonny6:and the seashell, unbelievable, the little Signs/Speechless/Rocket mashup, unf*cking believable! And AMERICA HAS A SMASH:jonny6: the song titles being stocks displayed under the news screen, that bee outfit,  I am going to go FERAL when I see it live I can’ttt

but why is she doing it, why is she forcing it? makes no sense to me.... especially given how many dates she has added, plus if she really is considering a new leg next year....

I have a strong feeling Halo will be included in the opening segment actually. Words can't encapsulate how psyched I am for Sunday :jonny:

There could be any number of reasons. One rumor was she was injured again during rehearsals long after the tour had been announced. Why would she cancel the whole tour when she is still obviously capable of putting on an amazing show? Millions of dollars lost in production, four years of work gone

And maybe this is her new normal? Is she never supposed to tour again?

‘You need to relax. Are you worried about your date?

Honestly I thought it would come later because 41 isn’t old but she was never going to be at a performing peak forever. This was going to happen at some point and unlike other big vocalists, she’s maintained her voice a hell of a lot better. For that reason I think we just have to readjust.

All is forgiven lemme just say that :giraffe:

The finest live show I EVER will attend in my life. Past present future. I’m still processing it but that’s what I can say atm

I can answer questions if anyone has any.

so glad you had a fantastic time :jonny3:

The show is perfectly fine as a non stan, but as someone who knows the intricacies of Beyonce the performer I still think more could be done.

This is where a BOMB ASS team comes in and takes the chance to tell her about changing things up.

Imagine instead of dancing, she utilized the idea of posing more, powerfully, rapidly, and takes the strains off her knees and or ankle, whichever is hurt.

It seems like she is also good on the ground so this would've made for some AMAZING floor choreo.

AND THE OBVIOUS WOULD BE TO USE A HARNESS AND DANCE IN THE AIR TAKING ALL THE PRESSURE OFF HER BODY.
