It was released to news outlets as part of a package promoting the hotel.

It pretty obvs she only works for a big paycheck nowadays (makes sense since she has a family to put first). I don’t think she does passion projects anymore, like the fact she’ll only do promo if it’s a private concert that pays her $24 mill, her incessant Ivy Park promo, Tiffany’s. Visuals doesn’t pay her, she pays for them. Album is only out to go with the tour (which also makes her a lot of $$$)

Tbh I think this is a cynical way to look at it. Sure, she's not gonna break her back on the promo circuit to get 25k extra sales of an album, but music and performing is clearly her passion. She's been making music pretty steadily her entire life even when she could've quit working and lived off her millions + been a trophy wife

Being selective and elusive is the reason she was able to go from $4 million a weekend at Revel to $35 million an hour. This wouldn't have happened if she was showing her ass everywhere like the 4 era.

 

 

The reality is somewhere in between imo

She’s passionate but she knows her worth and knows she doesn’t have to do things she doesn’t feel passionate about, don’t mesh with her big picture goals and/or don’t pay enough anymore. An artist with no passion would have never made something like Renaissance

Yes. All I'm seeing is positive comments. It's good that she focused more on her vocals.

As a fan, making of the albums and a snippet into their life is always welcome. I don't think it really moves the needle for the era unless it's heavily music based but I'm not gonna say no
