The project timeline is getting kinda convoluted now. 

 

I trust it'll make (more) sense when it all unravels, but as it stands I'm most confused by the fact that all at once:

 

* We don't have visuals for Ren yet

* There are supposedly more acts/albums to come

* There's a chance the visuals will encompass all the acts

* Launching the tour before the visuals will preempt all the things we're excited to see: Ren choreo, visual themes etc. 

* Premiering a movie that gives us the visuals for Ren and simultaneously visuals for new music we've not heard immediately takes away from the Ren hype.

 

Any combination of the above has me scratching my head. 

 

The only thing I can settle on is that both the tour announcement and visuals ought to come close together to feed the buzz for both. 

 

This is the most optimistic I’ve been as far as her odds for winning aoty, if she doesn’t get it this year it’s never happening. Idc about the other categories. (I will if she loses though)

Also I saw a commercial for the grammys and they were naming a bunch of celebs including Bey, insinuating that she would be there. So that’s something I guess

If the week following the Grammys the visuals aren't announced yet, I will fully believe the HBO Max during the summer rumour

 

The more I think about it, the less I really care for the visuals. Yes I know they'll be amazing and I'll love them as I did with all the previous but I don't really find myself going back to watch her previous visuals (same for any music video these days tbh). I would much rather the tour be announced.

I think the hype for the visuals has now fully died down. Christmas was my final hope

im treating the visuals like a pot of water on the stove waiting to boil - if i stop staring it’ll happen

I think of all her AOTY noms, this one perhaps has the smallest potential/is least expected of a win, and everyone has pretty much come to terms with it. Just thinking outside the Hive bubble for a bit, the sheer amount of credits alone is what I feel will invalidate its chances.

it’s not much of a thing anymore and she’s definitely above it but an Unplugged-type release like Moo’s (or the Tony Bennett one that won AOTY ) would be so legendary
