It’s the rudimentary lyrics that I never got passed since day one. It’s saved by the choir ending and enthusiastic “everybody” chants, but yea. I can’t with the vibration motivation foundation and salvation, I was genuinely starting to think she was going to throw “formation” on my first listen  I don’t dislike the song tho. I go feral anytime I hear it in bars/clubs

Not people just crediting the producers for how amazing Renaissance sounds. Her previous couple of albums were also immaculately produced and the common denominator is Beyoncé. She has amazing ears

The popularity and success of Cuff It is mainly due to TikTok and Ms Tina constantly promoting the dance videos on her Instagram, not the power of Beyoncé’s name alone. It reached the Top 10 by luck. If the fan-made Cuff It dance didn’t go viral and make others want to create dance videos, Cuff It would be dead in a ditch.

I gave Renny a little break over Christmas while I enjoyed some self titled and have been enjoying a bunch of old school house/garage through January so naturally I ended up back on Renaissance.
 

Heated with good headphones is literally her best song (excluding Virgo’s God and America Has A New National Anthem) ..

I would actually love to hear Drake’s full version of Heated. I really don’t think it goes anywhere judging by the quality of the songs on Honestly, Nevermind unfortunately

“Part of the plan” my ass. That was only said as an excuse to save face. No artist can look into the future and know a fan will create a viral dance to one of their songs, which will help make the song a commercial success. There was no plan. If TikTok didn’t exist, Cuff It’s success wouldn’t exist.

New Brazil certification updates were posted in the Chart section. I can’t believe “Baby Boy” is only certified Gold and the “Grown Woman” certification is based on YouTube video streams and iTunes music video purchases.
