I remember someone on twitter (who's in the industry) saying what probably happened is that she vocalised what she wanted it to sound like, which was then played on horns. No surprises there, we know she's an amazing composer. I would love to learn that she actually did play though.

Renaissance is the perfect title. Post pandemic like the actual renaissance era and it's been a career renaissance for her. She wasn't a flop by any means, but it was the perfect solo comeback and it's sort of reintroduced her to the audience at large.

Virgo’s Slaughter should’ve been the first single. She could’ve made a special radio edit version, especially since other album songs were shortened from being 8 minutes long.
