No, you're just making straw man arguments because you can't deal with the reality of what I'm actually saying. She has dedicated an album to the LGBTQ+ community and her gay uncle. During that era she has now made the decision to do the first performance of that era in a country that criminalises homosexuality. That is hypocritical in every way.

Oh no, I was "done" with the conversation because the same ones of you were spouting the same hypocrisy over and over and I was tired of seeing the people that I thought actually cared about minorities being as trash as the fan bases we lash on this forum.

 

Nobody has said it was fine for any of those artists to do it, but I'm not a god damn Kylie Minogue stan so why am I going to be discussing her in a thread about my actual fave.

Society would be nowhere if purity was required to have an opinion and be critical of something.

You can’t compare the middle class and poor individuals in this thread to billionaire . Like hello, some of y’all are living paycheck to paycheck meanwhile Bey could never sell another album, jacket, or concert ticket and remain rich for the rest of her life and have tons of wealth to hand down for generations. The hard truth is that she doesn’t need this money, she doesn’t require it to maintain her standard of living, she’s isn’t going to lose her house, her kids aren’t gonna have to go on food stamps. Now that’s not to say she won’t put the money to “good” use (funding artistic projects, perhaps down the road some kind of charity project) but it’s still anti gay money.
