Right now he is currently having a meltdown on Twitter over Hive  His tweets this past year mentioning Bey are always tragically reminiscing on the past, with desperate hopes of working with her again. Funny, cuz a couple years ago he actually shaded her on Twitter over Lemonade  Bey has dropped him, and he has NO IDEA what's happening at Parkwood...

Hence here he says:

 

"Seems plausible". In his opinion he doesn't think Bey would ever do acoustic, but thinks a joint album is def something she would do. He has ZERO tea

That's a bit disappointing and yesterday I was thinking Boots and The Dream are the ones who seem really loyal to her. 

 

Although to his credit, I don't think he meant the first one as shade more like he doesn't want to give something he has created to other artists anymore. At least I hope so.

She can collaborate with Jay but keep him in the background.. he snapped on Alien Superstar and Break My Soul. “Unicorn is the Uniform” and “You say you outside” are all him.

Absolutely want the DC reunion. But the Mathew ownership feels like it won't be an easy angle for a while. 

 

Outside of that, I'd love for act 3 to be her take on Ed Sheeran's No 6. Collabs project. Basically a Beyonce collab album. Would (theoretically) do wonders for her SPS if she goes all out with all the collabs we've wanted (Bruno, Rih, etc). But a part of me thinks she's too "boutique" an artist to be that "obvious" with her streaming play.

I'd put money on Jay's only contribution for AS being "I'm one of one" - she's just quoting his old lyrics.

Boots is overrated & got cocky following ST era...i'm glad Bey dumped him. no producer should get comfortable thinking they're a Quincy Jones figure in her career and she needs them to curate an album. even the way the Hive carried on begging & pleading that he'd be on future projects was embarrassing. the fact that he's even joined this conversation & is engaging with the Hive like this is giving clout chaser.

^ 6 Inch was originally from ST, but I think he also made some other contributions to Lemonade.

Just found Boots' current Twitter thread.  Are we sure those tweets above are him? If so, those tweets might not even be about B, and can also easily explain why he turned down Madonna, Mariah & others, who would probably want to water down his sound or have him ghostwrite.

To be honest, I would love to see them work together in the future. 

(He also did a great job with the Crazy In Love remix & Dreams. Didn't he have a hand in curating the first 50 Shades of Grey Soundtrack?)

 

I would have loved to see him maintain the humility we saw at the beginning of his career when he was plucked from relative obscurity, but I'm sure it gets to your head when Madonna, Mariah, and some of the other pop girls requested music from him post-ST and he turned them down. It's a balancing act to take on new business but make sure you don't get lost in the sauce + your sound begins to match everyone else in the room. 

 

To make matters worse, the hive is weird sometimes on Twitter. When buzz is made with no concrete facts, the blogs will take the unfounded claims for the attention. I think people forget that the goal has moved away from accurate information, and moved towards being the talk of social media for the day: good, bad, or indifferent as long as those impressions are growing.
