An acoustic album could be huge commercially though.  Look at the previous 3 Taylor albums.

 

 

Also, for those saying "what happened to country/rock", both of those could be acoustic, it would actually make more sense if the album had country and rock elements, AND be acoustic. 

 

Lots of 70's - 90's rock is acoustic, and some of the biggest rock hits are acoustic (Every Rose Has It's Thorns - Poison, Losing My Religion - R.E.M., The Joker - Steve Miller Band), most of Jewel's big hits

 

Acoustic is basically just live instrumentation minus electric instruments.  Think guitars, drums, stringed instruments, the piano, woodwind instruments...

This is what they heard. Knowing Parkwood, they put the rumor put so they can watch folks repeat it and laugh. Bey isn't working overtime to give an acoustic album. The country one sounds more feasible.

Another Jay Z joint album/tour is probably the worst thing I've heard all year, probably worse than whatever Russia is doing. Might as well start WW3.

None of the acts are a joint album, it’s clearly a joke. 

Why can't Beyoncé just be normal

 

Why can't she just give us a schedule, tell us what to expect and when to expect it (promo and all)

 

Since ST she's been so hung up on this silence and surprise nonsense

 

Hopefully by Jay-Z collab, they mean like on RENAISSANCE. I wouldn't mind a song.

Right. And she got taken out of the Grammy category with a country song, country radio is NEVER playing her, country audience will never switch as Bey stans, and the CMAs were just another sounce of hatred towards Bey. There’s literally nothing to gain from making a country album.

I, personally, like when Beyoncé explores other genres and I adore Daddy Lessons and one of those unreleased songs I liked at the time was a bit country. I like country Bey and I actually look forward to it, if it's true. There's also something country inspired about Irreplaceable. 

It probably would be a mix of country, acoustic, rock and maybe pop with strong RnB/urban influences. 

I would very much like that.

Well she doesn't need their approval to make the music she wants to make. It's fans who get to enjoy the music. If the fans likes it, the GP likes it, she likes it, good. I don't think anyone is expecting her to convert into a country artist.
