A ******* WORD a good amount of hive will ignore this and keep saying she's "sabotaging" herself. They're too obsessed with chartZ and SaLeZ/StReamz for a woman whose career is already made and has been made for a while now. She's easily one of the most successful artists of all time in all metrics and is still breaking records. I could see if Bey was some young new girl still in her commercial prime but this woman is a legend now. She definitely still cares about the music and art because all she's done and continues to do is serve top tier quality for anything with her name on it. I'd rather have that and a reduced/bare minimum promo schedule than her phoning it in and putting out terrible or mediocre music, which is what the majority of her peers are doing and what the majority of her predecessors do once they become middle aged pop stars.

My memory is a bit foggy, but can someone confirm that there was a Timbaland produced album that Beyonce scrapped? Wasn't that confirmed at one point? I think it was somewhere around what became the IASF/4 eras.

 

And wasn't there a Fela inspired album as well, produced by The Dream, that was scrapped as well?

MOVE is fine but I can't praise it. It's a The Gift reject that wouldn't even place top 5 on that album. She should've replaced it with a dance-version of Find Your Way Back

Will Beyoncé put something out for CUFF IT? I don't see it getting too much higher without a video. It could he her first album with at least 2 top 10's since IA...SF.

Anyway there's a small (very small) controversy right now here in France regarding Beyoncé. 

 

Some contestant at the new Star Academy said she was the Beyoncé of her team and people took it very badly.... The usuals :"how dare she compare herself to Beyoncé" "she's not at that level, not even close". Even the producer said to her face... well you're not on that level.

Radio has moved onto Anti Hero. It’ll take a while for cuff it to smash without a video. It’s kind of slowing down already.

She must be the ONLY artist right now who put out an album without a single interview since then LMAO! I know many love to drag her for such thing but it's kinda iconic, i dont care lol. I love how unbothered she has been since releasing the album. The media can try anything at this point, NOTHING will stick because of this attitude of hers. It's a genius self protection that i think people just dont even notice it anymore but it will make sure her legacy is intact.

Iconic to who exactly? People dont care about that stuff, shes off the scene, hence off their minds, et voila. No one believes this is grand or some amazing strategy

Actually not true.  Not responding to things is a bad strategy.  Perception unchallenged becomes truth.  
 

Which is why her team started replying to professional allegations against them.  If you are not going to set your own narrative, others will do it for you.

What are you even talking about? Anti-hero taking off on radio does not hinders cuff it success in the least. If you noticed, cuff it had two of its biggest days on radio this week (Mon, Tuesday). I think the streams have settled now and we won’t see any significant increase unless something is done but radio is very much on board

visuals and live performances are all I am looking for tbh. I don't need her to get creative with it and do a lot of strategic, chart-obsessed marketing schemes, or corny late night interviews.

 

I would LOVE a virtual concert where she plays RENAISSANCE all the way through, for example. "The Renaissance Experience" or something like that. since her tour will most likely sprinkle Renaissance tracks among the huge hits in her catalog, this would be a fun project to relive the album, but I guess I might have released clips from it with the tour announcement and full experience after the North American leg of the tour is over.

Some of y’all seriously need to seek help. 
 

not this woman with nearly a 30 year career not doing enough for you when she owes y’all 0 hours of promo.  If you are seriously this disturbed by how she has chosen to roll out this album, you care entirely too much about chart life and ATRL threads.

Yea I've met multiple people in real life including my own sister that legitimately believe she had a surrogate for Blue. I remember thinking why tf isn't she saying something...ANYTHING about this to squash that bs rumor,it got so huge and she never controlled that narrative. Then years later seeing Yvette go ham about her pregnancy lips had me so  ugh.
