Ngl I’m kinda okay with Bey playing the long game this era. 

 

When BMS and the album dropped a lot of people were saying they missed “Old Beyoncé” and that they didn’t hear hits. 
 

Now that time has passed, the bandwagon hate and the bandwagon love is over, and the most accessible track on the album is taking off - which should mean that all the people originally turned off by Renaissance should be satiated enough to still check out Act 2 and Act 3.

 

 

Would I have preferred traditional releases with Cuff It —-> Alien Superstar —> Heated (Drake Remix) all being massive hits? Yeah. But things are fine.

 

My only question is - what exactly is going on with the visuals.
