we have a whole masterpiece of an album, and she's still "promoting" to some extent. if the private parties are gonna get the Kar-Jenners to make TikToks and IG videos with every song on the album like Kylie's been doing, then it's still doing something I guess, idk.

 

and not to mention we are in the dark about what's coming next — I think complaining about the unknown territory ahead of us is one thing, but saying the rollout is entirely messy or she's changed her mind about the visuals or whatever seems like a reach. the album is doing great on the charts, we have an organic hit brewing, and we just got Summer Ren commercial + Paris celebration. "CUFF IT" goes for pop radio adds Oct. 18, and it's already climbing on other genre formats. call me delusional but I think we're mostly out of the woods? tour announcement is allegedly this month, and who's to say visuals aren't coming before then? have some hope, people. soak in the album and our patience will pay off.

Yes, Cuff It doing Gods work right now and I'll admit it helped me raise my mood regarding Rennies rollout, but yall are trying way too hard to justifie this non-existing era so far lol.

the reaching just to complain  we got a mini music video baby I'm comfortable but I'm not in the Tiffany tax bracket either. it's a video paying tribute to ballroom culture, and if you are LGBTQ+ that's something that's really cool and for us.

she's doing promo and creating social media buzz. many of the attendees posted their looks, directly tagging Beyoncé or using her songs. it's not *for you* specifically but I don't think an artist's promo cycle should be expected to cater to *me*. I guess we disagree on that. I'll be happy to get visuals and tour tickets, my vinyl and box set I paid for got delivered August 3rd. I got what I need! she delivered what she promised.

Bey may be irritating us atm with her antics, but she's very much still playing the MPG game. We're not quite at Prince / art-not-charts with her yet. Especially when songs are being worked at radio, big visual deals are in place, and she continues to play the retail game,  

This is exactly how I feel. Could this era have been handled better and smashed harder? Sure. Like you said, she has still hit all the markers for success, with Cuff it finally given the keys to a successful run, even with the lack of visual.

I'm surprised at how nonchalant I am feeling regarding the visuals. Knowing they are coming at some point, along with a tour and the potential of two more albums, has kept me quite content. 

The only wishes I have remaining for this era are:
Her coming to Australia and actually doing a "World Tour" that includes more than EU and USA.
My Collectors Edition Vinyl miraculously appearing on my doorstep (not ever happening) 
Heated getting a remix and smashing after Cuff it has done gods work.

Make it happen Bey.

In the meantime I'm going to continue to enjoy her best album to date, with hopes that she somehow one-ups herself with Act II and III.

It would be one thing if Beyoncé was seeing all these “concerns” regarding her career. We’re actually seeing the meltdowns, while she’s in her mansion, watching house of dragons or something. It’s a bit… concerning to see y’all Health deteriorate over another woman’s career when clearly she’s ok with that’s going on. Again, go touch some grass or read a book

Ur "higher than thou" attitude is, in my opinion, pretty stupid. You fail to make a difference between consumer and fan. Of course as a fan you are emotionally involved and don't "just" consume the final product. Per definition fans are not just there to buy the album and call it a day. Most of us have been fans of Beyonce since 1997, we are clearly invested in much more than just her musical output. We've invested and still are investing much more time in Beyonce, her music, her life, her choices than a regular consumer. And as a fan, we all have every right to complain about this detachment, illogical and unfinished rollout and this ever-ongoing guessing that is neither fun nor exciting.

Maybe you are just not a fan in that sense, but that's a you problem then. You are in no position to tell people to touch some grass or read a book, and if it's too much negativity for you to take, maybe you should just log off.

Literally. It’s obvious they use Beyoncé’s career and accomplishments as some kind of proxy for theirs, which are probably nonexistent. And yes, Beyoncé and Parkwood still knows better than they do. I’m super satisfied with the album, the success of the album & singles, and the upcoming tour. I think it all boils down to having a life.

 

anyway, I can’t wait til the week after next. The tour announcement is literally all I’m waiting on.

I wonder why the other stanbases are being pressed again? It was relatively peaceful with attack for a while there. 

 

Anyway, I am quite happy CI was sent to radio, I hope we get the video or some promo eventually. I still wonder if she filmed all those celebs on skates for CI. It seems like a great idea.

She is not creating buzz the right way. She's doing the bare minimum and appears to want to promote her album amongst the music industry as if they're buying the albums and tour tickets. A popular urban blog posted her outfit twice and the engagement was weak. Meanwhile they posted a certain somoene making a quote on their upcoming Superbowl performance and that post got more likes and engaement.

 

Yall better wake up. It is not 2013 anymore. Parkwood is incompentent and delusional about Beyonce's foothold in pop culture currently. She'll never be replaced. But the industry and GP isn't going out of their way to look for her. Cause she keeps intentionally hiding and disengaging.
