Yes, it's just weird how people come for Bey for the weirdest and smallest Things. The song was credited, move on.

I am curious about the point of these club Renaissance parties if they're so exclusive...

Dies any of that buzz spread outside of the rich and successful? Maybe she just loves hosting parties  :gaycat6:

Throwing secret parties for the rich and famous while ignoring her fans.

She doesn't even pretend to care:rip:

Hey y’all, I’m BACK after a 2 month ban. Glad to see the album doing so well, and Cuff It risking globally

I'm almost 100% certain there's a coming documentary for Renaissance and the parties will feature on it. So far she did one in New York, now Paris, then London and after that Los Angeles. They would represent the theme of the album well because it's all about having fun, dancing, party, Disco and the way the venues are decorated with the disco horse front row and all. We'll see but i think the coming releases will be music videos then a documentary release before Act II. I'm just curious when exactly she will do all of this before Christmas though because while the theme could fit with the partying part of it, i wonder if the timing will fit.

She should release BMS and Cuff it music videos first. Both the same day and then continue to release the rest of the music videos later on before Act II is released.

Anything else at this point is sloppy. Unless she changed her mind and will release the visuals on a streaming platform after all. She probably got paid for the visuals by Netflix too.

Changed her mind? IMO, the visuals were **always** premiering via streaming (almost certainly Netflix). She'll probably do a BIK and give the one video to YouTube to satisfy streaming and to act as a promotional vehicle for the overall visual album.

What re-affirms my belief in a streaming service premiere (rather than YT) is that she's gone in such an unconventional direction with the roll-out that trying to create visual excitement around songs we've been sitting on for months via YouTube is going to be uphill battle in terms of views. Can you imagine visuals like Alien Superstar sitting stuck at 10 million views and ultimately not being representative of its true cultural impact? Wouldn't be a good look.

Sure people love to see her, but a lot of the "I like this song, let me play it views" that would have gone to the videos are now sitting on those lyric videos. Same with curiosity plays.

She's better off only putting whatever she's working as a single on radio on YT. So, at this point, Cuff It to start with and maybe one more (from this act) after that.

the whole "she wouldn't dare miss the Sept 30th Grammy deadline" theory didn't pan out at all. soooo i'm not inclined to believe that "i don't want my video to just be 10 million views" is in the back of Beyonce's mind with these visuals. how many of these theories have actually panned out since June?

As one of the few who truly believes Bey is getting ready to roll out A LOT (aka the silence hasn't been for nothing), the timing of the potential things coming is one thing that's puzzling tf out of me.

Album - check

Tour Announcement - imminent

Visuals - loading

The above is either in motion or about to be. But supposing Acts II and III are indeed new music, I expect them to be spaced out by several months. But what about their visual component (if there is one?)  On the one hand, no one is gonna wilfully wait as long as we have for the Ren visuals over and over. Surefire way to lose momentum. Yet, dropping the visuals with the subsequent Acts erases this "let the music breathe" schtick she's on now.

Similarly, if there's a doc coming (which I agree feels likely), where / how could that fit into the mix timeline wise?

I also dont believe at all the videos wouldn't have views. Many of the same people who have already streamed the album would go out of curiosity check the music videos. That's where Beyoncé is smart with this because for once an artist dared give the music FIRST before anything else so it's new thing that has not really been tested a lot in the music industry and it could end up working well because people knowing the songs already, knowing the lyrics being so familiar with the material and knowing only the visuals have not been delivered, could very much be into checking out the visuals at once even if it's released on youtube.  It will be a true test of Beyoncé's power in the music industry and in a way i'm excited as a fan to rediscover the album with the visuals. I'm still not mad with the way she chose to do it this time. As an artist if you dont try to shake the table a bit then who will? like she must be bored out of her mind with this industry.

Shade lol.

Grammy deadline indeed came and went (as have a lot of theories we've all made), but one thing that I stand by with 100% certainty is that Bey is all about the optics. Whether fans see it or not.

Her solo success markers have always been (at the bare minimum): #1 charting album, big first week sales, a "hit" single from the era, and a huge tour.

At the same time, she's become a master at concealing anything that makes the brand look weak and working her woes into wins.

Not a huge Pop radio darling anymore? Solution = dive even more into R&B bag and not bother pandering. Therefore won't be seen to be trying.

Formation video being unlisted IMO was more of that. A polarizing song that did not come with the type of guarantees those screaming "it could have been #1" feel it did. By actively "being seen to" be against the rules, her success (or sometimes lack-there of) can't be measured by that yardstick. If/when it works, it gives her even more glow because it "looks" like she did it against the odds.

I say all of this to say, I do not see Bey allowing for videos we've waited so long for to sit with subpar performance for all to see. Ren (and her solo work) is given a different premium (internally) IMO to, for example, the BIK vids.

Bey may be irritating us atm with her antics, but she's very much still playing the MPG game. We're not quite at Prince / art-not-charts with her yet. Especially when songs are being worked at radio, big visual deals are in place, and she continues to play the retail game,

There is nothing new about releasing music first before releasing a music video :deadbanana2:

That’s literally how the industry worked from the beginning of music videos up until like 3-4 years ago. She’s not shaking any table…

Oh just shut up. In the last 10-15 years everyone released their lead singles with music videos ready. Stop trying to discredit everything because y'all cant be patient and mad at her because she tried something new. Most of y'all who would run at any damn piece of leaked stuff from her work because y'all are bored and dont care about respecting her wishes. She probably is keeping everyone waiting also to get back at those who were so happy to go listen to her leaked music even after knowing how much she hates it.

Good for Bey.

What else is there to do? My invites to these secret Club Renaissance industry parties keep getting lost in the mail…

Idk. Touch some grass, read a book

I really don’t understand the rationale of trying to pretend like anything she has done for this era made sense or there’s a master grand plan. There isn’t, and that’s ok to admit and accept.

Cute that some of you still pretend to know anything about Bey's plans. If you're so loud about us being wrong then what more do you know? lol she can come tomorrow and reveal what her intention was all along and that would make you wrong or it could be the opposite and i'm wrong but either way i wish some would stop pretending they know everything and being arrogant about it. So damn annoying. Just admit you dont know **** like all of us.

I also hope the visuals premiere on netflix. it will be a bigger deal and they will have the full support of netflix backing them. is it annoying that they will be less accessible? sure. but a youtube premiere would really be really anticlimatic at this point

I feel like to try to rationalize the irrational serves more coping mechanism than clever or out of the box thinking.

Also, Yes to Netflix. Any other platform seems like a waste honestly. Then she should upload BMS, Cuff it and maybe a couple others onto YouTube.

Honey you are annoying for trying to make people feel bad for being annoyed by what simply is messy on Team Beys part.

At this point it is what it is, but u guys who are constantly defending Beys choices are serving crazy delusional stans.

No one with a functioning brain can tell me this is how they planned the release of the videos and such. Nobody releases a teaser 9 weeks ago without any set date.

Ofc none of us know but why shame ppl for being upset?

:deadbanana2:

this base is like clockwork, we go from complaining to celebrating crumbs then back to complaining...

we have a whole masterpiece of an album, and she's still "promoting" to some extent. if the private parties are gonna get the Kar-Jenners to make TikToks and IG videos with every song on the album like Kylie's been doing, then it's still doing something I guess, idk.

and not to mention we are in the dark about what's coming next — I think complaining about the unknown territory ahead of us is one thing, but saying the rollout is entirely messy or she's changed her mind about the visuals or whatever seems like a reach. the album is doing great on the charts, we have an organic hit brewing, and we just got Summer Ren commercial + Paris celebration. "CUFF IT" goes for pop radio adds Oct. 18, and it's already climbing on other genre formats. call me delusional but I think we're mostly out of the woods? tour announcement is allegedly this month, and who's to say visuals aren't coming before then? have some hope, people. soak in the album and our patience will pay off.
