I think the visuals are going to be next level, remember all of the teasing we got when she announced by tech companies?  Maybe that’s partially why. Her green alien look was weird, and super green screen esque with that face paint.

I think some people misunderstand. Most of Hive is expecting explosive multi week #1 global smashes this era. But when you have a song, or 2 or FIVE consistently gaining traction on the biggest streaming platforms, why would you not only not do anything but pull your lead single from radio not even 3 months in? What's the plan? Why did she choose track 6 of the album as lead and appear not to have the video ready? The video should have dropped the week after BMS went #1 to hold people over and make a point. Not tease I'm That Girl for no reason. 

 

None of this equates to groveling for Gen Z. Even dedicated Bey fans are confused and they don't have time to sustain an entire era like it's 2013.

 

So another single needs to be announced this week. It's the only way any album can sustain in this era. None of the stuff being suggested takes effort from that yacht she's on. It just doesn't.

My concern honestly isn't the wait, I just hate watching her squander away potential the album has for what appears to be no reason.  Send out a second single if you're going to pull the track from radio (which is that even true?).  The album deserves to be heard, it's easily the best album in recent history (imo).  I would hate for it to be lost. 

I agree. I don’t want her to waste the opportunities in front of her either. For me, after years of groveling as a chart hive, I’ve learned to make peace with what ever she chooses to do. 
 

Truth be told, I think even with the delay, it’s not as bad as some are acting. I can’t say I have a deadline in my mind, but the album is still fresh.

Sis was EVERYWHERE in 2011. The singles just flopped/the album leaked/she got pregnant but she was still doing a bunch of promo pretty much nonstop from April-December of that year (obviously the era could’ve been longer had she not been pregnant but she was still back with Revel in Vegas like 4.5 months after giving birth). 

this. she worked really hard with 4 and it eventually paid off

Who remembers when Ivette or whatever her name is posted an Instagram story saying they would be teaching everyone how to do a decent album roll out

And then Beyoncé was like here’s a great idea, how about I disappear from the public and hide my music. Even her husband never did that. 

Act II's roll out will confirm a lot for us as fans. We will see if all of this was done on purpose for Act I or if it was the strategy all along. If it's because some things went wrong, perhaps those things will be fixed for the second  release. Parkwood could be going through some things production wise or some people caught covid while filming the videos and it became a mess. We just dont know yet. The way they will handle Act II will finally confirm some things for us and if it's the exact same roll out then fans will just have to accept that Beyoncé is just done with the industry rules and is being a rebel with her actions to prove a point. It could be a silent war with Sony/Columbia. We really dont know what the heck is going on.

Honestly unless ACT II has the better music over ACT I it’s not going to fair well on the charts, less than 200k. The point is to keep the momentum going not kill it going into another era. People won’t rush to hear the new music this time because they see Bey doesn’t really do anything about the music. Stans will be the only ones interested. 

Honestly once you listen to the music the bullshit of the era kinda melts away. Like the way it’s the best album of all time  she doesn’t know what to do with the era cuz the music is just TOO good
