we've entered a "manic" stage...thats why i can't take any of this seriously. we've gone from experiencing a #1 song, 300k+ album, 120 countries @ 1, 23 Billboard charts, etc to suddenly trying to make us believe that it was a figment of our imaginations & Beyonce is a relic of the 90s/00s that nobody cares about in 2022. yeah, its giving manic.

B. Akerlund styles Jonas' videos. She picked out the yellow dress for Hold Up, which was Jonas' video. She worked on renaissance and posted the still of beyoncé wearing the disco cowboy hat and says "cant wait to see what comes of this special project"

When the email from that disgruntled fashion designer leaked months ago before the album was even announced, we knew Jonas was working with her. note the email CC says AKERLUND (jonas' production house) and the email is coming from someone who is not B.

 

 

This is how we have concluded that some visuals had been shot and others were still being filmed around release, like BMS.

Forget about the charts and what not, this is extremely frustrating for fans to experience the era as well. The wait is beyond stupid atp  

 

Idk about the rest of you but I'm already getting out of the honeymoon phase with this album. Whenever the visuals drop, I won't care as much as I would have until now. 
 

She could release the best videos of her career so far and it wouldn't make the big impact on me as the ST videos or Lemonade did; much like what happened with BIK. Yeah I will like them and enjoy them for sure, but the excitement and anticipation has started to fade and it will not be the same.

 

It just doesn't work in a setting like this were you have a full visual project waiting to drop. It's not the same as a proper era where you focus on one single at a time with performances etc and fans anticipate the next music video. If you don't strike the iron while it's hot it will just feel underwhelming later on. 
 

This era has been the worst thing to witness as a a fan up to this point. 10x worse than ST and Lem. ST was a great era imo. With Lemonade I know people were frustrated about things, but at least there were things happening. Now there's nothing. She really let what is arguably her best record fizzle out like that.

It's possible for 2 things to be true at once.

 

Yes, we enjoy the album. Beyoncé put out one of her career bests. 

 

It is still perfectly valid however to call a spade a spade when it comes to the piss poor rollout thus far. It is very possible that they've already missed the window with the visuals, and that their release may not exactly impact the longevity of the album on the charts anymore.

 

Rumors that ACT II may be dropping this year (including new music and possibly videos as well) also sounds like sloppy mismanagement.

 

Realistically,  BMS should've had a video out the week it went #1 at the very least and they could've capitalized off the hype for AS, because it was viral album release week. 

 

Clocking that doesn't make you not a fan. And yes, if videos really do drop in October (that's what im hearing now) then good luck with that. Depending on who puts out an album by then, including the Impending Taylor Swift drop, they'll mostly just come and go. Especially if they drop all at once.

Black is King was beautifully done, and I won't say it's a mistake.....however, if she never did it, we would have visuals for now. The truth is she did BIK because she was bored and didn't have a new concept for a studio album yet, but wanted to shoot a bunch of visuals. Now, she is probably exhausted by the shooting/editing etc process, which is why she is taking her time now. I just hope the budget and vision for the videos has not been sacrificed.

You don't think they expected this response? You're absolutely obtuse on the regular.  You act like people are just pulling all of this **** out of thin air.

it took a year for BIK visuals to be released...she never promised anything to come...the press release said "at a later date". this was always the plan. and going by the Lemonade schedule above (which yall want now)...all the promo was spread out in 2 month increments...we're not even 2 months in yet. might as well wait until Sept 29th lol.

 

the limited edition vinyl is entirely separate issue...but yall didn't pay thousands of dollars to see a Beyonce video.

I assume this too, tbh.  I think we will understand the wait, but, maybe some communication would be helpful. 

 

What's sad is that the album isn't getting the dues it's deserved, this is her best album, and it's just sitting there for 6 weeks without anything.
