I am still enjoying Renaissance and yes i agree, there's no rush to release the next act so quick. IF there should be another single i hope it will also get remixes. And i think once the visuals are released the era could/might be done then. I don't know what else her team would do to promote it further more.

Nnn, stans live in a different world. The GP doesn't get upset about stuff like this. It just limits her exposure to them and limits repeated engagement from more loyal fans. A new act will come with a new marketing push. Ironically starving Renaissance of more marketing, will actually give Act II more room to fly if they want to launch it with a single+ video.

In my head I'm hoping

Act ii: Alternative, country, folk, Pychdelic, Electronica, Pop, Rock

(Imagine "I am", mixed with the creativity and boldness of Lemonade with a sprinkle of Tame Impala)

Act iii: Soul, RnB, Orchestral, Pop

(Kind of what Be Alive Oscars teased in the openning. A spiritual successor to 4 but way more layered and cinematic).

None of this sounds fun, free and evasive as she described the album.

Described what album?

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”

Whether she's talking about Ren or all 3 projects, all she's really saying is that she's being creatively free, adventurous and liberated. Jumping to New genres fits this but also genres can only point you in a instrumental template. It can't tell you whether something will be "free" or not. "Fun" or not. A genres like Folk is an entire spectrum from the likes of Nelly Furtado's Powerless:

To something like Grizzly Bear

And being free of over thinking also means being comfortable to revisit her RnB routes and just do something which feels true to her voice and fulfilling for her to sing (DIL/4)...

Thats why I think one of these will definitely be more her in her adult contemporary bag, exuding the positivity and love from her family life. Ala POTS/LOT/Pink & White

Okay ideas! Would love for this to materialize

!!! After the Lemonade film debut, she did a consistent promo schedule that made sense.

Lemonade was first made available for online streaming via Tidal on April 23, 2016 (it had a film on HBO as we know)

Beyoncé performed "Freedom" with Kendrick Lamar as the surprise opening number at the 2016 BET Awards on June 27

At the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28, Beyoncé performed a sixteen-minute medley

On October 19, Beyoncé performed "6 Inch" and "All Night" at the TIDAL X benefit concert

On November 2, Beyoncé performed "Daddy Lessons" with the Dixie Chicks at the 50th Annual Country Music Association Awards (2016).

At the 59th Annual Grammy Awards on February 12, 2017, Beyoncé performed

Ehhh let's not rewrite history. This was awful. Not only was she doing things 2 months apart, which is good for her now standards, none of that was available to stream or to watch except illegally somewhere in poor quality.

And those performances had barely any impact because the music was not available for streaming.

It was a poor marketed era only geared towards the US again. And that is my favorite album so I won't go too hard on people who consider Rennie their fave album because ch... Lem was a nightmarish era to me. I even stopped following the era a couple months in online and her completely for a moment until I randomly logged on in 2019.

So far, at least the music is available everywhere and if she performs, she will put it on YTB. But most importantly music is available on Spotify, AM, Deezer, YTB etc. We have TikToks of the songs, IG videos of people listening to the songs etc. So it's very enjoyable and there's just something so grand seeing people enjoy her songs this way.

I think something might have gone wrong which happens from time to time but I trust that the visuals will be great and she has some good promo planed. The window for greatest impact might have passed but they'll still do something and if she follows up with a bit of promo, it could still make for a very enjoyable era.

Also I like to think that it will be educational for next era : the vinyls, the cassettes, the delivery fees, tax fees, visuals will be optimized and ready for the next act.

Ring the Alarm, Back up , and Lost yo Mind say hello. Freakum Dress as well

She should’ve done a rock EP of these songs  instead of a Filler Spanish ep. She has enough to make a full rock album of just old songs re-recorded as hard rock

The sneak. Be serious :lmao:

Yall are better than me. With the way she's handled Act I, I can careless about the next two acts tbh. Just let me know when the tour tickets go on sale.

The way we gonna lose it when the visuals drop :duca: like I’m excited again

I don’t want another album anytime soon, that would devalue Renaissance imo. This could album could hold people over 2 years

Act II might drop in December/January while Act III around June just in time for the tour :coffee2:

nobody that's enjoying the album is going to disregard the next 2 acts just b/c she didn't release a video or hit up their favorite shows. pls. that's never been how any of that works. people that love this album are even MORE inclined to see what Beyonce is going to do next musically. once you have goodwill with 1 album...its a set up for the next album. the only way its going to be fumbled if ppl know about Act 2, don't like Act 2, & therefore it suffers from poor word of mouth.

idk if people are Beyonce-only stans in here so you have "stan" mentality which would explain some of the hyperbole. but as a casual/GP fan of other artists outside Beyonce...i don't follow those artists eras like that. Jazmine Sullivan is one of my favs...i enjoyed Heaux Tales immensely...i can't tell you which songs got videos, what they did on the charts, and where she performed other than BET Awards. i got tickets to her tour & once she releases her next album...i'm going to check that out too off the strength of her last one. same for Ari Lennox that's releasing soon too. Separating stan mentality from GP mentality...is one of the steps to finding peace & healing. I need to write a book.

This!!!

I honestly don't even want visuals for all songs. Sure, I'd love 3-4 music videos (AS, Cuff It, BMS, Heated), but above all, I want performances! My biggest fear for this era is that we will not get to hear all 16 songs live. I need her to do a concert special of just Renaissance before she drops ACT II.

I like this idea. A concert special similar to I am...Yours in a Studio 54-like setting where she performs all 16 songs of Renaissance. An intimate and smaller concert with a limited amount of fans.

This as well. I don't know why some users think all of us care about the singles, videos/film and TV interviews :skull: Those are cool and I think the lead single should have a video but after I watch them once, I'm satisfied for the most part. I love Beyoncé for her live performances which is also why I enjoyed the Lemonade era so much. My black ass didn't even know what the CMAs were but when I found out she was performing there, I made sure to tune in. It was the same for the other award show performances as well. Not many people can out do the actual studio recordings of their songs.

Beyonce is the one who's done with the album already.

But sis, she's not doing anything to rope the casual listener in. Stans are in here discussing the work cause they like it. The numbers show that casual interest is going down cause Bey isn't doing enough to sustain the era.

Some of us make too many excuses for Bey. The GP wants good accessible music and to feel connected to an artist. She did many things right or BETTER than in previous years, but she continues to squander potential. The casual listener may not think as deeply as a stan. But they do like to be engaged. Again, they don't have a song to listen to cause she's pulling her lead from radio after 2 months.

If Bey drops Act II with the same strategy, she will not garner the same level of impact and interest in her music. This theory was tested when she tried it with the Gift and EIL. If you don't put in the effort, no one else will. And they're not going to wait for a late documentary to explain it.

the album is #1 globally on Apple Music as i type for the 40th day...who is sustaining that?? Hive or GP??

there has to be a medium on these viewpoints...yall acting like no one knows Renaissance album is out & only Hive is listening to it. whose responsible for driving engagement on viral tweets & challenges and bringing the album back to the Top 10 on itunes every week? it can't be the Hive...it doesn't work like that.

Beyonce never meant for Hive to be Parkwood interns...she meant for us to dance & escape. the fans that have been throwing Renaissance parties every weekend to packed out clubs & bars are the only ones who get this and enjoying the album like it was meant to be. not panicking about promo, a video & a 2nd single when we have the full album at our convenience. Beyonce and Parkwood see all the statistical data...if they aren't in panic mode...why are any of you? at some point...we have to ask these questions. whose career is this?
