When everyone chants "Uncle Johnny made my dress" on tour at the end of Heated she's gonna get emotional. 

I knew it, like i said, she was going to have that week long vacation trip for her birthday, then comes back in LA to settle in and send kids back to school and then she will get back full time on some projects including music, Ivy park. I've gotten used to her little routine by now lol especially around her birthday she has been doing the same for years.

You know the only thing that makes this slightly believable is this clip of Shalae with the big Afro wig look with the nipple pasty Bey has in the RENAISSANCE photo book. That clip of Shalae was floating around the week of the album release

That would be a gag but didn’t Shalae post that clip?  I doubt she’d be able to do that if it was at all involved.

Yeah I’m sure she did and you’re probably right. But they did get the look together and booked a similar looking set extremely  fast. I think REN was not even or just barely a week old that clip was posted

Some of us make too many excuses for Bey. The GP wants good accessible music and to feel connected to an artist. She did many things right or BETTER than in previous years, but she continues to squander potential. The casual listener may not think as deeply as a stan. But they do like to be engaged. Again, they don't have a song to listen to cause she's pulling her lead from radio after 2 months.

 

If Bey drops Act II with the same strategy, she will not garner the same level of impact and interest in her music. This theory was tested when she tried it with the Gift and EIL. If you don't put in the effort, no one else will. And they're not going to wait for a late documentary to explain it. 

I'm sorry but you guys are ignoring that her albums is like 3rd biggest release of the year. Break my soul has been spammed on radio for 3 months in the US/UK. I've been in generic white gay clubs and people have cheered when it has come on. 

 

This era has more potential YES. But its an absolute success and has definitely reached the GP. We need to remember that most artists the "GP" listen to, take a year reach Rens openning week numbers. Just because someone ain't doing Harry/Bad Bunny numbers, doesnt mean they aren't being heard by the GP. Bey isn't as Global as certain other artists and thats fine because she ultimately makes various shades of RnB whilst the other girls are making POP (this heavily impacts Spotify comparisons)

 

I've had friends who lowkey dislike Beyonce tweet about Alien Superstar or another album track. All I can say is that in the UK she's doing amazing and the album is well known.

 

One thing we need to remember is that streaming is heavily driven by certain demographics and behaviour. Bey doesnt have gen Z wrapped around her finger but neither does any 40 year old female. She doesn't have straight males wrapped around her finger, but neither does any pop/RnB girl. Her music and brand doesn't have the same accessibility as a Taylor Swift but we dont want it to lol.

Just because some demographics would rather spam a select few artists they relate to over her, it doesn't mean she isn't having massive reach.

 

As far as act 2 goes, look at any Act 2 and you'll see a complete nose dive in sales. The Gift/EIL honestly have no correlation, go and look at Evermore by Taylor dropping 70%. Or 20/20 part 2 by Justin. So regardless of promo don't expect Ren numbers out the gate. I expect act 2 to have a similar roll our to act 1:

 

-A lead single sent to radio

-Good Spotify playlisting

- some IG posts

- Some fun trolling to garner excitement in the media before it all drops

-probably a shorter turnover time (2-3 weeks instead of 6)

I am lowkey chart hive just because I want for her music to be known and appreciated but the reach of Renaissance >>> ST/Lemonade.

 

Those albums existed in ages where sales were driven of one of purchases. Having an album free available to stream exposes it to way more people even if the units don't look as impressive on charts, the difference im seeing in real life is palpable.

 

And I'd be annoyed if the era was over but we know it's not...

 

Finally anyone saying they don't care for act ii because they're not get the promo they wanted... 

Imagine being more into the marketing of artist then their actual music

Evermore dropped that much because Taylor didn't have physical copies ready. she kept releasing signed copies in later weeks and vinyl only dropped a few months later. So realistically it could have dropped by 30-25%. not too bad for an album full of throwaways and Side B's.

I expect Act II to cross 300k again, to be honest, especially if she has the "standard" vinyl to ship during release week. Renaissance could have done much better had she not capped it at 26k vinyl with the limited edition. and Act II won't be Renaissance leftovers.

The only song that we know is guaranteed a music video is Pure/Honey, since the Moi Renee look gave it away. The rest is pure speculation.

The vinyls will be released at a later point (probably early 2023).

Also i think since the CD might get leaked too early it's gonna get a digital release first?
