At this point, I hope 30 doesn’t win because it’s become very uncomfortable to see the hive go in on Adele the way they have been doing, despite Adele showing nothing but love to Bey over the years. She even dedicated her own album acceptance speech to Bey, which she really shouldn’t have done. She should have taken her moment because 25 was a record breaking album that deserved the win. 

 

As for 30, it was never really created with the aim of replicating the success of 25 or 21. It clearly sounds like a personal album which was created with the intention of healing her broken heart. By far one of the best albums of the decade for me for a variety of reasons and incredibly underrated on ATRL. If it wins AOTY, it deserves it. Whether stan Twitter or ATRL agrees or not. It is the best selling album of the eligibility period and is highly acclaimed. 

 

RENAISSANCE winning hasn’t even entered my mind. It’s not happening. I want it to, but I’m not delusional. My prediction is Kendrick. 

Also, Adele deserved to win for her special. It was beautifully shot and garnered higher ratings that the Grammys. 

 

Bey deserved to win too. But just because she didn’t, it doesn’t mean Adele should have lost  They both should have won.

Yes because that performance as well as Carpool Karaoke were phenomenal and will definitely go down in history because they’re superior to Bey’s SB and films according to the Emmy’s.  The institution can be criticized love.

I'm sorry. But no. Adele knew she wouldnt be able to deliver the same numbers as 21 or 25 and set the narrative up for when she underperforms. Even her die hard chart stans can admit that the album was extremely front loaded for all of 2 months. Only to not be Sony's top revenue earner a mere 6 months later. They pushed for her. She had 70 million in radio audience the first week of EOM. Adele's album wasn't any more personal than the supposed other ones where she was chasing and breaking up with a man. And then when you compare the fact that Beyonce's most personal album still lost. After many made excuses for her previous AOTY nominations being too broad and commercial? Come on. We're just kicking the can to the opposite side at this point.

 

Adele's promo tour has started. She's already said that she couldnt "properly" perform or promote her album due to being so "depressed" about the residency. Meanwhile she's galivanting around the globe with a boyfriend she's had for a little over a year. 

 

Beyonce deserves so much more. But due to people feeling that she already has enough in the looks and family department, she gets overlooked. It's like sticking it to the ppular girl at this point. And Beyonce seems to know it. Which is why her promo tours are God awful dreadful and hurts the fans at this point. 

My prediction is Adele, Harry, or Bad Bunny lol.
