Well, it depends. Although she's still under Sony (not longer under Epic because she's under RCA now), Epic is handling the promo of "She Did It Again", her collaboration with Tyla, so let's see whether Epic or RCA will do the same of "Blue Moon" or not.

While I love Blue Moon I'm not sure this is the right choice. She should be ready to push a new era at the beginning of next year

She should act fast and move towards a new era. Ideally a new album should already be in works, and a surefire new song should be already in the pipeline to kickoff the new era. Midnight Sun did what it needed to do but she needs her Espresso moment and Blue Moon won't be it. Just let a month or two for MS to hit its full potential, and then move on asap. January will be ideal. Timing is everything in this business.

That Billboard article/interview is not confirmation of a single, but her saying she wants to push it as a single. She's been pushing it a lot on Tiktok which could be an indication that it could be a single, but IDK if it will tbh. I can see her funding a video for it, but idk how a radio push would work, since MS is an Epic release, and she's with another label now.

Honesty she really should move on. She had all the opportunities to release more singles but kind of wasted it. It's simply too late now sadly!

Her team really should have sent Euro-summer as an international single & push Blue Moon/Hot & Sexy as the US single.

She could easily push a new era next year yet still promote both albums/singles.

Yesss! the GP only knows Midnight Sun+Stateside at the most, she can sneak one last single to close off the era

I am usually all for keeping an era alive, but idk... Look, I love Zara and have for years, but for me personally this whole album was underwhelming. I'm happy she's gotten her moment from it, but I wish she moved on to a new era sooner than later with stronger material.

So where is it Zara? I think it's a great idea to release a video for this as a goodbye to the era, and push BM to 100M streams on Spotify.

It will improve the optics of the era, with 3 songs (Pretty Ugly will eventually get there) on MS hitting that mark. And if it suddenly goes viral and smashes, that'd be good too.

It will definitely die down before Q2 next year, which would be the ideal time to release the lead for the next project.
