The fact that she demanded writing credits, made Cruel Summer into what it is through the Eras tour, toured and collaborated with both Paramore and Sabrina Carpenter, all because Olivia was inspired by her idol, is absolutely wild If this ever hits the mainstream, it will really put a dent in her image.

I didn't say the deluxe wasn't a smash, because it was definitely a success for the reasons you mentioned. I'm just saying it is interesting that none of the deluxe songs quite popped off the way they could have (given the movie + playlisting, etc.), yet HTIMYLMD did!

They definitely tried to turn the deluxe into a moment though, between the film, TTH placement, etc. It wasn't the same as a lead single push, but still.

Almost 2 mil above the #2 song! She did that with this boring ass song I wonder why the Eternal Sunshine deluxe didn't smash, as I feel like those songs exist somewhat in the same soundscape as this
