Zara Larsson - 'Midnight Sun: Girls Trip'
Just saw her live in Belgium, and I think her performance of MS will go viral. Up to a 100 people started imitating the pose where she is lifted into the air. It was quite hilarious

Slayyyter - 'WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA'
Has she always had this voice? Because WOW

RAYE f/ Amma & Absolutely - "Joy"
It would be a miracle for the era to pick up steam again, but if it's any song during summer season, it's this one!

JoJo - "The standard for live singing isn't human anymore."
This is so true! I used to be one of those people who was obsessed with watching live performances, especially by my faves. But everyone, from Kelly to Gaga, now uses live tuning. This, for me, eliminates the feeling of 'aliveness' during a performance… you currently know the artist you're watching will always hit every high/low note, which kind of destroys the anticipation I used to feel right before the climax of a song. I'd rather have bum notes here and there to bring back that element of excitement. E.g. Kelly went years and years of dodging some of the high notes of her biggest songs (Since U Been Gone, Miss Independent), and then, after what appears to have been extensive vocal training, she got access to that part of her range again. This really reignited a sense of standom in me, and brought me back to listening to all the live performances I could get my hands on. Then came her talkshow with the Kellyoke songs, where she hit soms of the highest belts of her career. But because every song was tuned to perfection (even though she is the world's best mainstream vocalist atm), I never found myself watching or searching for those videos. Only when they would blow up in the niche fan circles I frequent. BRING BACK (occasional) BUM NOTES!

Ella dominating both US and global charts. Why?
What does chart success have to do with her political stance? She is MAGA whether you like it or not.

Tame Impala - "Loser"
Reaches a new peak on Spotify Global at #7
-
Madonna & Kylie - "Love Sensation" (Afterhours Mix)
+18 for Madonna on the Spotify Global Artists chart

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Loved the video, even if it feels a bit too similar to YA (the part where she is performing for a set of judges)
-
Ariana Grande - 'petal'
On my first listen now and I'm so impressed with the first 5 songs. They all exist within the lead's sonical universe, but all serve something different. Did she really solo pen every song?
- "hate that i made you love me" is still top 3, two months after release. Shocked?
-
Ellie Goulding - "4 Seasons"
Sounds promising. I've always liked her moody/dreamy songs most, so this is right up my alley
- Tyla - 'A*POP'
-
FLO - "Remedied"
They are ******* SINGING, love.
-
Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
Please go back to Twitter where you belong... we don't need this energy here
