I'm not a fan of Bad Bunny because, in my opinion, there are some dark shady things about him (I will keep them to myself)

But I have to recognize that, among his peers, he's the most talented latino urban star/crossover urban-pop star music wise* . He hires really good producers with interesting instrumentals like DTMF. He has an ear for melodies and catchy songs. He comes with interesting album concepts. He also creates music that's very relatable to the typical Latino here, especially people from the barrios-the typical typical latino. Si me entiendes me entiendes From music to partying, sex and mamar culo, to political stuff, to the value of family, community, and stuff.

I've seen so many Gen Z kids here in love with his music. Here in my South American country, our artists I hear-heard the most outside in this decade-right now are always Shaki, Karol, and Bunny. That's it. . In my opinion, as a native Spanish speaker, the key to his success is his voice. It's very raspy, has a very exotic Caribbean tone, and has some street grit. It doesn't feel generic o fresita

I don't see him singing-crossover in English because Latinos don't need it anymore success wise. The gatekeepers are gone. The doors were opened to Latin music in the '90s, 2000s, and 2010s, and we have big population numbers in the States and Europe now. So we have the backup to have longevity and good sales/streaming numbers there. Si ahora somos las divinas. Somos gasolina de verdad. Fuera feas


But now I'm curious about his next steps. He already has a Grammy for Album of the Year and the Super Bowl. Successful tours, singles, big money, huge fame. So he reached the highest heights for a Latino male artist ever.. Do you see him slowing down? Retiring? Maybe someone else in Latin America taking over his place like it happened to reggaetoneros in the past? goin even higher? havin a huge album again? Once you reach a ceiling, the only way to go is down??
I watched some interviews and he looked like depressed about his fame. So that scared me a bit.....

Any news about his next direction?



What's next for Bad Bunny? Is this maybe the beginning of the end?

Honestly, I'd rather see Bad Bunny collaborate with someone like Becky G, or someone who actually needs to regain some power-have a comeback on the charts.
I love Shak, and i respect karol but we need more Female singers in Lat.

Shakira is the common denominator there, so clearly she is the problem. But anyway, Shakira isnt bigger than Karol or Bad Bunny, maybe 3rd but it depends if she has any big collab or events to back her up.

Avant-garde reggaeton collab album with Rosalia.

It'll obviously do a lot of streaming initially but it has to be really good (like DBTMF) for it to have any real longevity. He's not exempt from flopping either if the music sucks, which I don't expect.
