    I use 7 songs from True Blue and 5 from Control so I guess Madonna wins this one for me.

    For me, Control is perfect from start to finish. All killer, no filler.

    I prefer True Blue but Control was definitely more ahead of its time and influential.

    This lowkey isnt fair because if we're being real, Control is Janet's true 1st album/debut.

    True Blue for me, but Janet was still carving her own path during Control and it's still a good album.

    This is hard I love both albums they're both so strong.

    But I'll give the edge to Janet and 'Control'

    I prefer Control as an album but True Blue has the HITS I fear

    Just now realizing how weak the 2nd half of True Blue is rip

    The AOTY nominee with 0 filler tracks Control.

    Can't compete with a skipless album with duds like Jimmy Jimmy and Love makes the World go round

    Great albums, great year to be a pop fan. Control is the stronger body of work overall imo, but no arguing with that insane TB singles run either...

    Pleasure Principle and Open Your Heart are both 11/10s.

    Both are iconic albums but True Blue is more since that was Madonna at her absolute commercial peak, everything about that era is legendary.

    Regarding the music itself Control is a waaaay better album, it only has 1 filler, all the other tracks are almost all 10/10.

    I also prefer Control's singles, but True Blue's (except for the extremely cheesy title track) are fantastic as well

    True blue has La isla bonita, papa don't preach and open your heart meanwhile Control has Control and Nasty

    True blue for a small margin
