Nope not at all. I'm exclusively a Top and I only chase pure bottoms. No desire what so ever for other Tops or masculine men. I'm a bisexual man I only date women or feminine gays. Won't even glance at you if you show an ounce of masculinity.

Completely anecdotal, but in my experience tops tend to care less about sexual position. So they don't go looking for bottoms, they go looking for people they think are hot.

Can we stop treating tops and bottoms as a species with everything set in stone? Different people will want different things regardless of what they do in bed.

Upon seeing someone I can't tell what their preference is but somehow I always end up with guys who are either bottoms or any of the vers variations. If I knew that someone is exclusively a top, I wouldn't go after him though.

there is a minor trend of tops who are more attracted to tops and may be in a long lasting open relationship together, i've encountered them before. it does seem to depend on whether you're attracted to femininity or not.

A lot of them do. It's a low self esteem thing. They are not tops only because they enjoy it but becuse they want to feel they are "more powerful" than other man.

It's the same common thing with men in sports. Some poeple like healthy competition but some others constantly compare themselves to other males and want to be seen as the best. You take that into gay sex and "winning" means being the top with somebody that also wanted to be a top.

I feel like only single gay men are obsessed with the top/bottom labelling. When it comes to serious dating/romance, it's never been that big of an issue for me as someone who prefers to bottom.

People will go for who they think is hot and will make it work, regardless of their self-identified fixed "role", period!

I relate to this. I am a top but I am much more attracted by other tops or masculine bottoms. IDK that is just the way it is.

Especially since sexuality is a really fluid subject and putting yourself in a certain box just because the whole community wants you to is nonsensical

i'm a masculine bottom and it's really hard for me to find tops, we are in the twink age and the only twinky thing about me is my music taste, tops usually wants feminine thin guys, not a butch diva like me
