Will Lorde ever have another hit?

Lorde's last hit, which performed moderately, was Green Light in 2017. Will Lorde ever get another hit again?

Lorde doesn't need "hits", she will forever be THAT girl.

She first needs to stop shushing her fans because those will stop buying tour tickets and then it's OVER for good.

No. She's an indie darling now. Maybe she will pop out a hit collab here and there tho

I mean who knows, but I feel like people have been wondering this for almost 10 years now and yet she is still here. michael

You mean the tour that sold out in North America?

OT: WWT had a decent debut and went #1 in the us so if she released the right song, yes.

Solar Power (song) peaked at #6 and Mood Ring at #11 on BB's Hot Rock & Alternative Songs...

Maybe if she releases listenable music, then she might have one. There's a reason Green Light was her last hit.

outta concern for lorde’s financial wellbeing, i think she should consider focusing less on aiming for a hit n more on securing a stable 9-5. billboard can be unpredictable, but direct deposit is forever.

Well... yes of course, the truth is that anyone can have a hit if they release good music (or at least something with potential hit) at the right time.

What Was That had good numbers at the beginning, but it's not something that people are going to listen to for a whole year but it still kinda kinda impressive.

Don't make me laugh.

She seems like she has gained back some of the artistic drive she lost after becoming a rich lady of leisure, but it's too late. She'll always have a loyal but diminishing base of listeners though.

Didn't her label recently drop her? we'll be lucky if she gets to release another album

Lorde is coming .

She's gone independent now out of her own choice, so I doubt she's even thinking about getting "hits"

David could've been a moderate hit if she promoted it as it was going viral

As someone said - never say never. Hozier got „Too Sweet" and I bet none of you expected him to have a hit like that, sooo
