Mis-Teeq first performance together after 22 years

Featured Replies

Here's Mis-Teeq's first performance together in 22 years.

Let's break it down:

All three women look fantastic. Alesha looks absolutely stunning, Sabrina has improved a lot and that hairstyle really suits her, and Su-Elise... well, she's still Su-Elise.

As for the outfits, they've updated their look to fit current trends. In that respect, Beyoncé sets the standard and everyone else simply follows her lead.

Vocally, Alesha's microphone was the only one I'm convinced was actually on. Sabrina's... maybe from time to time. And Su-Elise's... what for?

Overall, the performance was good. It was actually a pretty accurate reflection of the group's evolution. It starts with Sabrina front and center, but by the end all eyes are on Alesha. She's an undeniable star.

I hate that people online are hating on Alesha for being a good performer. I don't think it's Alesha's fault that the other girls aren't on her level. It makes far more sense to ask Sabrina and Su-Eli

Their sound still sounds so fresh. I need Pink Panthress to remix one of their tracks.

Oh Alesha the star that you are. Her solo stuff is so good. I might actually get tickets to see them :p

This performance was like watching a cheetah race two house cats.

Great they are back on the stage as a group after so long but they need to work on the chemistry, Alesha was way too overpowered compared to them. Not a discredit to her at all. Just that it was too obvious, especially during Scandalous. It was giving...The Alesha Show

They seemed more together in their older performances

Alesha's show. Sabrina looked terrified. Su-Elise happy to be there.

It makes far more sense to ask Sabrina and Su-Elise to raise their game and match Alesha's standards than to expect Alesha to lower hers to match theirs.

The idea that, instead of striving to improve, people should settle for being mediocre just seems completely absurd to me.

I mean i only know Scandalous from them and The Boy does Nothing from Alesha

Also the other 2 looked like some random girls being on stage for the first time

who's really hating on alesha though? only blind people i suppose.

the comments i've seen on insta are saying they don't remember alesha leading like that back in the day. alesha is on a different level there's no other way for this group to perform nowadays. the other two look like they came from a different project. and tbh one night at the wembley is more than they can handle.

I know it's only a one-off date, but I still think it's a risky move. They don't have the fanbase, the preparation, or—if we're being honest—the catalogue of hits needed to carry a full stadium show.

Beyond Scandalous and maybe three or four other songs, how are they going to fill a decent two-hour set? The only way I can see it working is if they include a segment dedicated to Alesha's solo material.

They need new music before the show.

They'll be fine, they have about 9 singles, throw in some album tracks and a garage medley and they'll be good.

Alesha is absolutely one of the best entertainers in the industry. Absolutely incredible.

Scandalous

B With Me

One Night Stand

All I Want

Why Try

Style

Many stellar album tracks.

Do they need to have two handfuls of hits?

Looking at it they have a similar amount of UK hits as groups like PCD. They just need to heavily market and this performance has been getting rave reviews online so it's a great start.

The outfits look more like Janet Jackdon Super Bowl and nothing like anything. Beyoncé has worn
