Whitney Houston - 'WH1TNEY'
The digital expanded has all of the remixes plus Higher Love though, so it's going to snatch those album-equivalent streams I lowkey feel this is for Gen Z and beyond. Every millenial grew up in a gen X or boomer household that had the Greatest Hits compilation. And most of this tracklist is already covered there What I really want is one of the 80s shows released in high quality. Her voice was pristine on that first tour. Someone, somewhere must have a soundboard audio of one of these shows! The South Africa album show was iconic, but her voice was clearly tired there, it wasn't her best. Plus there has to be more unreleased songs from her peak albums.

Whitney Houston - 'WH1TNEY'
New compilation - her first compilation album to feature "Higher Love". Many of these songs are already on several compilations IMO they should have just added the newer tracks to one of the older compilations like the iconic Greatest Hits, to bump its numbers up. They could have just called it Greatest Hits (Expanded Edition) with a 4-disc vinyl/box set...but here we are: @stevyy @GreatestLoveofAll ABC NewsWhitney Houston's new No. 1s album, first-ever Barbie, Cl...Whitney Houston's legacy continues to shine with a new album, "WH1TNEY," released Friday Album: WH1TNEY Apple Music: #19 Belarus #26 Switzerland #27 Fiji #28 Singapore #31 Lithuania #33 Poland #39 Netherlands #41 Belgium #49 Germany #51 Malta #55 Brazil #56 Ireland #57 Spain #58 Portugal #61 Mauritius #63 Czech Republic #64 Estonia #68 Italy #69 United Kingdom #71 Australia #71 Austria #72 Slovenia #78 New Zealand #83 Hong Kong #86 Finland #89 Armenia #92 Hungary #99 Denmark #99 Philippines #102 Luxembourg #102 United Arab Emirates #103 Cyprus #109 Sweden #111 Oman #111 Uzbekistan #116 Barbados #118 Jamaica #120 Norway #122 Antigua and Barbuda #122 Croatia #122 Grenada #127 Bulgaria #131 Macau #131 Malaysia #135 Kenya #139 Israel #152 Argentina #154 Ukraine #157 Angola #163 Sri Lanka #166 France #172 South Korea #174 Panama #176 Kuwait #180 Cambodia #190 China #191 Greece #195 Trinidad and Tobago iTunes: #5 Germany #9 Turkey #46 United States #87 United Kingdom

The Biggest female compilation albums, why?
My votes went to Whitney and Mariah. Whitney's comp was such a moment as it also had its own unique singles. Whitney's protege Deborah Cox on "Same Script, Different Cast", "Could I Have This Kiss Forever" with Enrique Iglesias, the superior version of "If I Told You That" with George Michael which was a big hit outside the US and the beautifully-produced (by Raphael Saadiq) neo-hip/hop soul jam "Fine". Plus having a full disc of remixes and her iconic National Anthem all in one collection, it's no wonder it's one of the biggest compilations of all time. It really encompasses her best eras, mixed with the iconic mixes that made her smash in all markets, formats and age brackets. Normally compilations are thrown out at the end of a label contract, but Whitney's was essentially treated like another full album era, with its own set of worldwide hits, tailored to different markets. Whitney hasn't needed another compilation since this but we've had The Ultimate Collection (which has stayed in the UK albums charts forever and is 6x Plat. whilst Greatest Hits is 5x) and several others. Whitney's team got the memo and just put out a NEW compilation with Higher Love tacked on the end. Those streaming certifications will be piling up soon

Do you pee in the sink?
This thread is diabolical. The responses have gagged me in the worst way. It shows why you can't take or share food from anybody - they could be peeing in the kitchen sink. And for those who think their bathroom sink is better…when you rinse your toothbrush and water splashes back, it's splashing pee residue on your toothbrush.

Is this the best vocal performance ever?
Umm…
- Why didn't these bops smash??

Do you pee in the sink?
I'm appalled. This is why I try to avoid public toilets as much as possible - you go to wash your hands or touch the door handle and have no idea what substances are lurking on there. If I'm driving I'll just find a discreet place to pee. I'd rather walk into a cobweb than get someone's fecal matter all over my hands, phone etc…

Nonsense? It's math. It's approaching 18 years since one of the greatest dance-pop/R&B albums was released Before The Fame, Sasha Fierce, Loud, Bionic, My Everything… There was UNEXPECTED. It's not my fault Xtina was 2 years late to the electro-pop/r&b party and got dragged for it - I personally enjoy Bionic. Throw shade all you want but Michelle's pop era will get its due praise in the forthcoming Destiny's Children: Solo Divas Album Rate featuring all tracks (including special editons) of the following albums: Ms. Kelly, Unexpected, I Am…Sasha Fierce, Lady Love. Also including any features/collabs from those album eras and some unreleased songs It's pending. The list is almost done. Just gathering some unreleased songs from these albums that I might wait to reveal in the rate thread when it's up…but for now

Someone suggested a 2008 Destiny's Chilren rate in the current 2006 rate thread. Sasha Fierce, Ms. Kelly Deluxe and Unexpected. Lady Love was 2009. Well her pop era was 2008-11 and there are some officially unreleased leaks. She also did features during that time which I'm including and I've included only some of those remixes too (the Ultra Nate collab has like 20 mixes in total ). So far over 40 songs. There's also some fire unreleased mixes (some of which were due for a shelved remix album but they're LQ rips from her MySpace years ago) but I'd have to upload them to YouTube. Forgot how much rare and unreleased gems I have from that era This is the list so far with playlists. The unreleased playlist is missing some songs that I'd have to upload: Michelle Williams Unexpected pop era 18-year anniversary rate

Thanks for the feedback. I thought ATRL might not be interested in a full Michelle discog as 3/4 albums are gospel, so thought I'd do a deep dive into her pop era and see how that goes

I've never hosted one before but these are a few ideas I have Star Spangled Banner rate - ranking the best to worst renditions Michelle Williams Unexpected album 18 year anniversary rate - ranking all the songs from the era, including remixes and shelved songs Western girl group rate - split into 2 seperate rates, one for ballads and one for up-tempo bops I was thinking of starting the Unexpected one fairly soon as a number of rates are ending this week and the US-release anniversary is October 7, which would be the deadline. Also it will be a lot less songs to cover than doing a complete discography

There were Supremes and Whitney discography rates that I missed? Yet 2 of my favourites won anyway (You Keep Me Hangin' On and All the Man that I Need) I'm thinking of doing a single album rate for an upcoming anniversary. Maybe add all unreleased tracks and remixes from the era also to pad it out
