i think the tiktok dance trend could take off but too early to tell

The vibes around the song is so reminiscent of nasty before it took off. Sometime it feels like I am having a déjà vu.

All she needs is her white twink to push to the edge, some of y'all get on TikTok right now. Hopefully this time she will be the twink.

I thought the choreography from the music video could be it, but it is a bit difficult for the average TikToker, she made it look easy but it isn't.

That could be also be the dance challenge as well, competing a bit who could make easy choreography look easiest/easy, and bit comedy for those who clearly can't.

She needs a couple performances of this song, a killer performance could take this off the ground.

Oh relax and stop being so controlling. Artist can follow whatever stream on influence the want. It's not heartbreaking or a joke.

Also using TikTok as an insult is so weird. What other app or program in society promotes young people to get together and dance and have fun? IMO it's an extremely positive thing and im jealous when I was younger we didn't have something like it. If I were a musician I would make TikTok "jingles" for sure.

it is very depressing how she went from delivering us constant ART like Ghetto Boy, No Contest, Life's Too Short, etc etc to making generic trend chasing garbage like whatever the hell this is, production wise she's fallen off so bad and lyrically it's somehow even worse, how did we go from Cold Sweat to every song being "yeah I'm a bad b*tch 😘 p*ssy furry like stitch 😘 hips go tik tok tik 😘 yeah my opps reek of cheese 😘"

Sometimes artist want to lean into pop culture. And sometimes they want to challenge it. She's been leaning in recently… and that's cool maybe, there are PLENTY of other artists to enjoy in the meantime until she decides to make counter-culture music again.

I love pop music and I love when artist are transparent that they want to make music without the pop culture machine. So this is right in my wheelhouse conceptually and sonically.

And I personally can't get into tinashe's more cryptic ballads. They sound like whale songs to me.

This idea that her music has gotten vapid and "TikTokified" all of a sudden is so dumb. She always has fun, lighthearted songs mixed in with more serious stuff, every project. The last two had some of her most serious songs ever and dove into areas like ambient music.
