I think she's doing a different exclusive for each streaming platform. Apple Music got the Pride Mix and the three snippets, SoundCloud got this, and maybe Spotify and the other DSPs will get their own exclusives too.

If that's the plan, I hope it helps with playlisting and gives the album and future singles some extra promo.

If not, then she probably just got clearance for this track, sent it to the DSPs, and decided to upload it to SoundCloud first while it's still making its way to the other platforms. Or maybe it's a combination of both.

As for the mix itself, there's nothing that special about it. It honestly feels like she's trolling lowkey. She could've at least added another verse or a bridge to make it feel more worthwhile.

Tinashe invented a sub-genre of music that is completely forgettable and makes you wonder why she even recorded it, but at the same time, could only be made by Tinashe. Reminds me of a lot of her major-label era songs.

She needs to try something different and experiment more. I don't want another album or EP that could be easily swapped with 70% of her discography and no one would notice.

Lmao this era sounds nothing like her previous music, if anything this is far more experimental for her than the rest of BB/A series
