Featured Replies

and it's giving me anxiety

Because people didn't take it serious?

She alienated most of her fanbase with HF, it being years since her last hit, no tv promo, minimal playlist support for the singles (and only Fast being sent to radios if at all), all in one.

She's repairing some of her image and fanbase with this album, not smashing with it.

Demi hasn't had a proper hit since 2017. It's pretty obvious her team either doesn't prioritize her or doesn't care or doesn't invest.

There has been times where she could have had a hit but the label didn't send the song to Radio or didn't push it even after certain songs gain traction.

I think this album would've done miles better if it came after "Tell me you love me or Art of starting over" Holyfck killed any momentum she had a left.

Death of her pop music to only release a generic pop album afterwards. You can't take her seriously she's all over the place.

PS Fast is a great song but she should have came harder! Nothing from the standard album was explosive enough for lead single. Certain songs should have never made & replace with stronger material. In fact some of the deluxe songs are miles better than the standard songs.

The promo was terrible and there really wasn't a "hit" song on the album. That doesn't mean the music isn't good, it's a solid record from Demi. But nothing on the first few listens screams "send this to radio" so I think that's where she kinda messed up. Several have the potential to be clipped though and get virality that way.

Idk and idc. That's her problem not mine lmao. All I know is that the album is great and I often listen to it, front to back. clap3

Idk but I think how well the tour did will help her for next era in terms of having more eyes on her

she's going for the gay niche audience for sure, that much was evident for the promo this era. but her days of mainstream smashing are long gone, which no shame in that, she has some big hits to her name and can be a good touring act

fast was a bad lead single and killed the hype with its boring mv that got no promotion. The following singles were alright but no attempt was made to promote them. Album released and people didnt even know

She hasn't really been part of the conversation since 2017/2018. If the tour's doing well I think that's enough of an accomplishment for the era

I dont know releasing an album called it's not that deep after that sounds pretty self aware and logical to me

Demi ruined her image beyond repair years ago and froyogate only made things worse. I feel like she lost a big chunk of her fanbase and people stopped caring.

Let You Go and Low Rise Jeans should've smashed.

Give a stream to this amazing cute little bop that deserved single treatment, I know tiktok would have eaten it up with a nice trend jamming

In my fantasy, INTD and TLOAS have swapped chart runs '( (and In My Wig is the Ophelia-level smash)
