Also feeling worried by the state of the world/economic hardship and how climate crises might aggravate those issues in the future dancehall

But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger etc etc so I keep on keeping on!

Medically I'm having an absolute time of it atm rip

I legit feel I just give "smile and nod" energy nowadays to get through it.

As a 32 year old I've fallen for a 24 year old HARD. I'm trying to get over it but it's so difficult.

This was not a storyline I wanted this late into my life

....I'm honestly at my best? Dream PhD, best salary of my life, supportive care network and health problems in the background for the first time in years.

Had a rough start to the year, multiple injuries and had to cancel two shows as a result, but feeling good now and ready to slay the summer.

Ok I guess? I have a job I like well enough and my life's pretty stable. I've been blocking out a lot of the news lately though. I used to follow every single event closely and it gets to be too much. I also blocked a lot of sites and apps from all my devices with screen time and this program called Cold Turkey Blocker and it's been working wonders. heart

Same, I've tried really hard the last few weeks to not doom-scroll or read anything on social media, and it's been wonderful to be honest lakitu Like I sleep better & nothing triggers me that much anymore.

It feels like burying your head in the sand sometimes, but I guess it's come to a point that mentally I can't take in anymore news michael

Family-wise: Everything is going better than expected. Things are in the best state yet after a lot of past conflicts between my mom and dad. My cat is also doing well, and I've been giving him kisses and hugss every day.

Health-wise: I've been having huge anxiety spikes this year compared to my good 2022-2025—I'm mentally half wrecked. I blame the new place I moved into with my parents. The apartment is perfect, and the condominium has a pool, a park, and so many amenities. It's really big, but it's right next to the main highway of my city, and the noise of the cars-motorcycles affects me badly. If you open the windows, the noise stresses you out; if you close them, the noise is gone, but the tropical humidity heat gets trapped. I feel like my dad rushed into moving here just for the sake of it. We told him it was a bad idea to move that fasst* Honestly, it feels like it ruined my year. I'm really hoping to move somewhere else in 2027. This is the worst place I've ever lived. gaycat6 bad start of my orange year

Academic-wise: I'm doing great at university, but things are getting harder each semester. I've been thinking about taking a break to study and prepare myself better. Need mentors

Romantic/Social-wise: I don't feel like meeting people or making friends right now. I need to sort out my personal stuff first. I Only talk with my besties online.

Economy-wise: I've been looking for a part-time job. The complicated thing is that my current city has very high unemployment-no industries. The last city I lived in had far better opportunities cause it was big metropolis, but it's become really dangerous—gangs have taken control and kill-kidnap many everyday. So here in my hometown, I don't have as many opportunities, but I have peace of mind and I'm close to my family.

Country-wise: I'm really worried about my country. The last two governments have been totally disgustin. Crime is at an all-time high, things are more expensive than ever, and education, science investment, sports, the economy, are failing—healthcare used to be one of the best in the Americas and now hundreds are dying cause the president just feel like it. Insurgent groups are taking over more and more, and people are still falling into populist traps and even if their lives are ruined social bodegas have control of them and so many are here for a dictatorship as long as the goverment is giving them small handouts. It also frustrates me to see people from first-world countries defending the villains in my country when they don't experience what we go through. Our sufferin our unstability. That makes me really angry-wish for vendetta with a word testament but i stay silent cause i dont like confrontation. Violence is not solving anything. So i pray for them instead. I pray with hallow by gwen stefani. eli but yes to be trapped by a populist goverment with sheep followers is the worst of the worst

State of the world: My brother currently lives in the U.S.(Arkansas), so everything affecting The states stresses me out. I'm also worried because, according to some prophecies, 2027 is supposed to be a "shift year." My brother applied to a good job in my country and i hope it works for him. I want him to move away from the USA. ICE is so scary. My dad cancelled the trip to my brother graduation in the USA cause he was scared of ICE. Sad about my brother not havin family there but i dont want my dad to be trapped in alcatraz or something. Dad only speaks spanish

Technology: AI has been one of the best things to happen to me, and im doin things i always dreamed but, I'm worried about its negative effects and sometimes i wish i could go back to the 2010s. I'm also concerned about how some tech leaders are showing their true colors. It feels like the world is in the worst hands. Advanced civilizations would look us with disssapointment.. Im shocked how all of them show signs of psychopathy. Is that the rulebook to be a big tech ceo in the states? to be a ***monster?

ATRL life: I been unhinged and meanie lately. Need to stop and be more cutesy and Disney Channel. aPWCRbn.gif

Overall great, but there are just a few key elements that just make life more frustrating than it needs to be. As it relates to social and romantic connections, people have just been acting so wild as if they're losing their minds; this era of instant gratification is really doing a number on people. It doesn't seem like people really know how to properly get to know each other, expecting for there to be a spark upon first contact. And people absolutely don't know how to handle disagreements and alternate perspectives and viewpoints.

As it relates to work, it's good but it could be going a lot better. We have an overall good operation, but the micromanaging and basic reasoning just makes it more annoying than it needs to be and creates unnecessary drama and stress. Some days are better than others, as it relates to that, but today was just so perplexing. They're so scripted to the point of never being able to look at the whole picture; their reasoning is just very childlike and limited.

I've been hitting the gym a lot harder than I typically have before in the past, along with walking three, or so, miles every few days. I'm sore and tired, but I feel myself gaining a lot more strength and endurance. So, it's worth it.

Not great. Still recovering from a broken wrist, and just trying to keep my head above water.

On and off alcoholism has been a battle too.
