  1. This is going to be the most little pathetic showcase, with the remaining acts, just like his incompetent administration. It's poetic.
  2. This album in its entirety. Albums that came before were mixed much better, so I don't understand why it's so bad for this album. I hope it gets remastered. It sounds so quiet and muddled, which is unfortunate for how brilliant the music is.
  3. It's low-key a dream of mine.
  4. I love hearing a clip of a single or song release I'm excited for. It all has to do with timing, though, as others have suggested. Don't release a clip of a song only to wait weeks, or even months, to release it. If a teaser is released, the song needs to be out by the following week. Building hype is a thing, but just don't let it sit and fizzle out.
  5. It's just a matter of philosophy, I suppose. It's just never productive to dwell on the negative and allow that to ruin an entire experience, especially when there's a lot of love, admiration and praise coming at her as well. It does a disservice to herself as well as those who fell in love with her through Wicked. Perhaps that was an incomplete sentence, though. It's too soon for her to feel like this publicly. I need to remind myself to be as specific as possible on here.
  6. It can signify how well someone takes care of themselves, and it's something to be proud of, loosely. But it also comes down to genetics as well. You have people who look younger than they are, and you have people who simply look older than they are. It's not a bad thing either way, depending on the circumstances. I was just told by someone a couple of weeks ago that I looked 25, which I generally get a lot. It's always nice to receive such a compliment.
  7. For how much of a major release it was, with the sequel just being released mere months ago, it's too soon for her to feel like this. I love and respect her, but a lot of the interest surrounding her currently is due to Wicked. It's only natural to be asked and talked to about it. Take a deep breath and just go along with it for now. Give it another six months before claiming it to be "ad nauseam."
  8. It's been about two years since I've been. The long wait times and being served cold fries it what killed it for me. I always did prefer their burgers over McDonald's, but I rarely eat fast food nowadays, anyway.
  9. I can't go to an event like that, my nervous system would be on 140%. Pride isn't my scene. I'm the type that would be at a café on the outskirts of it, hoping to catch a like-minded individual out of the corner of my eye.
  10. I've thought about taking advantage of it, being that it's offered by my job and insurance. I go through bouts of temporary depression that just lasts for an hour or so every now and then. Though I wouldn't consider myself to be depressed, there's a lot I'm missing in life. And it does often get to me, as recently as last night; I've been fine today, though. I struggle with interpersonal relationships. And I need to just talk through it with someone and be told that I'm not as crazy as I think I am in believing that the problem isn't me. One thing I do need to work on, personally, is breaking further out of my shell. I'd like to believe that I'm confident and full of self-assurance, but I'm really not. Even if I'm good at pretending in certain scenarios.
  11. I love a lot of Shakira's songs, but Beyoncé has the overall better discography, with it being more diverse and creative. I always feel excited whenever I sit down and listen to one of Beyoncé's albums; Shakira doesn't give me that same spark of excitement, even if I do enjoy her.
  12. She's one of the finest in R&B nowadays. Her discography is filled from top to bottom with gems. It's criminal how underappreciated she is.
  13. It can be done. It absolutely can be done, and black women are typically always at the forefront of it.
  14. Oh, I'd give anything to hear her version of "Stranger In My House." I love Tamia, but her voice would just perfectly suit it.
