Slayyyter - "brand new chanel$"
She's a just a force of nature on stage. The effortless confidence, the vocals (going from delicate to operatic to growling to belting to screaming and always hitting the mark), the body, the level of COOL and COMMAND that she operates on... oh Slayyyter you deserve all the success. I hope Brand New Chanels does its thing and becomes another Dance.../Crank It level onlinesphere cult hit for her at LEAST.

Slayyyter - "brand new chanel$"
This gives me the same feelings Gaga's Marry the Night, Natalia Kills' Saturday Night and Lorde's Green Light gave me when I was a teenager... this inexplicable brew of euphoria, nostalgia, sadness and the desire to take off into the night and abandon all you know Oh, Cathy, you really want to claim my year-end top 5 all for yourself, huh?

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
A few hours after my first listen, the songs that stick out to me the most are those that branch out from the pleasant polite airy pop mode Ariana seems to default to these days. Oh Well, Big Feelings, Warning Signs (!!! ) and Like I Do are all instant faves. Never Get Over Me sounds like a lost track from The Weeknd's Starboy era (complimentary). Freak and Nowhere Nobody feel like the most experimental songs on the album and the ones that come closest to the teased shoegaze direction. I almost wish she had pushed it even further because I think she could have arrived at more interesting results had she fully committed to the "Brandy meets Imogen meets indie singer-songwriter" angle. Still, I appreciate the variety of the record. It's all quite pleasant even if nothing reaches the heights of Eternal Sunshine for me.

Jae Stephens - "Sugar Trap"
This is a banger of epic proportions, the Aaliyah x Timbaland vibes are STRONG

Rihanna's "Stay" hits 2 billion streams on Spotify
The way she followed the mega smash that was Diamonds with another mega smash Which is nothing to say of the streak of smashes she had going on before that (Rude Boy - Love the Way You Lie - Only Girl - What's My Name - S&M - We Found Love) and after that (Work - Needed Me - This Is What You Came For - Love on the Brain - Wild Thoughts) I MISS this hitmaker!!!!

Tyla - 'A*POP'
There's some nice production across the album, but it's missing the intricacy, ambience and vulnerability of her debut for me. I think Kiss could grow to become one of my favorite Tyla songs though, a darker, slightly harder-hitting sound in the vein of that song and Mr. Media would have been a great way to push her sound forward imo.

Genia - "Can't Wait"
Another jam from her, I really like her voice!

Miley Cyrus teases new album
No, sadly I don't have Apple Music or a way to listen to vinyls, but definitely gonna give it a shot once I have the means to. Can't wait to finally be able to appreciate Walk of Fame and Every Girl You've Ever Loved as the pristine bangers that they were meant to be

Miley Cyrus teases new album
Here for any sound/direction from her as long as it has proper mixing and mastering Plastic Hearts still sounds so rich and well-produced whereas a bulk of the vocal (and instrumental!) production on Something Beautiful sounded very fuzzy, blown out and sometimes nauseautingly dense to my ears. It might have been a stylistic choice but it sadly impeded my enjoyment of the album quite a bit

Car speeds into Berlin pride parade, 1 dead, at least 29 injured, attacker dead
To think that the presumed attacker is only 21, how you can have so much hate and aggression in your heart at such a young age is so surreal to me My heart goes out to all the victims and their families

ADÉLA - 'PRIMA'
I love Red Bottoms (those final chorus ad-libs and strings ) and like KGB and Ain't in LA quite a bit as well so I'm perched for this!!!
