All of these girls' families are extremely wealthy, I doubt they've ever had to worry about money. HYBE also put out a statement saying they became profitable under a year, and usually it takes groups 3-5 years. So they're probably being paid more than we think. They've probably a signed a 7 year contract with Hybe x Geffen with the option of doing solo projects whilst being active under the group.

I don't want to sound negative or anything like that, but her presence within the actual program -not just the group later on- was questionable due to commitment issues.

And, as other users mentioned, it's not even completely fair to expect such commitment as she was a blank page (artist-wise) when she got scouted. The current formation is so into the group and willing to live on a crazy schedule because they really wanted to be artists since they were kids.

Frictions are inevitable when goals and dreams do not go towards the same direction.

oh yeah I don't think she's coming back.. they're great as 5, 4 (prob even 3, 2 and eventually solo) but they are/were truly something special and did feel more unique as 6. I also believe Manon brought a more carefree vibe and was a very fun presence for them to be around (as we can compare/see from their lives and interviews) and now that they've already kinda "made it" and have a decent following + since this is "just" the entertainment world and not like the army or w/e (and I doubt the public ever rly felt like Manon was holding them back in any way, quite the opposite) it is sad they can't/couldn't make it work and I fully blame the ppl managing them for that. it's not like we expect them to go on for many MANY more years anyway, they're a girl group after all but oh well

That's the reason I decided not to go see the movie. From their Lollapalooza crowd I already saw that it was gonna be most children/pre teens going to see the movie, and I'm not gonna be the 30+ gay guy there in the middle of this mess.

The performance was really good, and the styling is top notch, however they need to regroup this song/choreo, it's so awkward when no one os singing, specially the climax.

They sounded great on Fallon. The dance reminded me of mean girls Christmas dance.

I still don't get the obsession that people have in them needing to have an full album out. They have just as many songs as BLACKPINK had in 10 years basically. "But it's finally a full project" will it tho? The same people will still complain that they have 4 out of 9 songs being fillers anyway.

And it's not like they are putting out 5 songs and being MIA for two years, they are basically releasing two mini albums per year so far.
