she usually gives us the fun uptempo as the second single so this is a nice switch up. but might be risky since love songs are much better album sellers.

Yeah, I bet this is her horse in the race for song of the summer. Vampire was a hit, but I think the timing of its release was a bit off. Having a power ballad release during peak summer was a bit jarring. Something like Love is Embarrassing would have been better

Ella is already at 305 points for Choosing Texas pre album release. Her album releases Friday, so she will probably get a significant album boost. Vampire under the current H100 formula would garner about 360 points.

I feel like there's more hype around this project than there was around Guts and Vampire. It doesn't really seem though that songs are having as strong of streams as they did in 2023/24 on Spotify though

There was a Twitter account that had spilled every single thing about the era so far (and they were right) and they said the lead single was a feature. Thusfar its the only thing they weren't right about which makes me think that they changed it but who knows

That tiktok account is a fake leaker. They've been around since December of last year posting AI-generated songs. They also try to pass off other leaks as their own, including the AI-generated "Luck" and "Burn" cover leaks.

the only real leaks this era came from some random Reddit user with a connection to Target, and a well-known hip-hop leaker who works with a streaming service.
