I don't know if social media is entirely over cause I still chat with a lot of people in DMs but actually posting content in oversharing seems over to me unless you're trying to be an influencer or something

People are growing reluctant to post on social media across the board. You're in competition with professionalized influencers, bot accounts and a heavy-handed algorithm that prioritizes the most egregious ragebait there is. People are getting tired of shouting into the void
