Songs elevated by one tiny element ?!?

Featured Replies

Post here songs that contains a suble/little element that makes it even better.

Nile Rodgers play the guitar on the verses. I ended up overfocusing on that part of the song.

At 2:26 there are extra "disco bells" in the production that is an earworm to me.

The key change at the end... 💪🏼💪🏼

The strings at the end really add a layer to this. jonny

originally written by Raye but glad it went down to them. their vocals, harmonies, riffs and runs elevated the song further.

The song would be acapella if there was no sample sis. That's not a tiny element.

Umm have you heard the song? It has a euro pop vibe throughout the whole song. There's even parts where the sample isn't present.

The "Whoa" thing in the intro and all over the song. Feels a bit like a dog-wolf howl:
0:07 // 0:12
I have the multitracks of the song somewhere in my hard drive and that part there its named: "Arabian-Arabic Dogs"

This song would still be a bop without it but the bells in the middle and end of the chorus take it to the stratosphere jonny5

I've always loved the little chime after Ari says "atari" in eternal sunshine title track

Speaking of strings... Always thought the ones in the chorus after the "into the bluuueeeee" added a bit of drama 🥹

Rocky's part on "Good For you;" like his verse but more so the instrumental bridge.
