  • an open relationship is not a real relationship.

Closed for me I think. Yes I'll probably have moments of boredom/curiosity along the way but my feelings would be hurt too many times for open

yall are some freakssspsyduck

you're not gonna die from having sex with one person skdjdjdjdjdj

closed cuz there's a chance they fall in love with someone else they had sex with

Closed, not interested in a man who can't control his impulses for pleasure seeking.

i have no ill will or judgement towards those who are in open relationships , at the end of the day it's not my business . however from my own perspective in my own life and experiences i have never seen an open relationship last . what ive seen of those i know irl that have been in them is its usually a 'last resort' to keep the relationship afloat . is that true for every open relationship ? no . which is why im talking about my own interactions with couples in open relationships only , i literally made that clear in my post so don't say that im being unfair im talking about MY lived experience and what ive seen . i also know myself and i know that i am way too much of a jealous person to be able to mentally thrive in an open relationship .

I have the exact opposite experience. The most successful gay couples (some of them decades together) I know are almost all open.

people in closed relationships fall for other people abd leave their partners all the time though...

Closed. I want to devote myself to a partner who wants to do the same in return; some things are better, for me, if they're only shared between each other.

I know it works for some people to be open. I know it's perfectly valid and healthy. But **** if I'm not soooo ******* tired of hearing that it's the only valid way to live and that humans "aren't meant to be monogamous" and that I'm being gay wrong by not wanting to participate and that everyone who ever lived is secretly a cheater and other such nonsense rip

But won't you crave more D?

Closed. When I date one person my mind is only focused on being with him and be happy with him, the thought of him having hook-ups with others would shatter my mental health so no.

Closed if I choose to commit though I prefer to be single right nowโ€ฆ I'm in early 30s n I've had enough dicksss lol

this is atrl that is in none of our natures

The second the mere suggestion is even briefly exposed I would end it there and then. I find it disgusting how this is normalized particularly among gay relationships.

I love getting bred wdym gaycat5

I prefer the closed one cuz in my opinion it's more intimate and not just sex, and open relationship is basically just that - sex with different ppl while having a buddy aka friend with benefits. Still not judging ppl who have the open relationship, it's their life and their choice bird

I don't enjoy sex unless it's with someone I have a romantic connection to, so closed works best for me.

My man is about a decade older than me and I was in my 20s when we started dating. He was like you're young don't you want to have a ho phase before you get locked down with someone like me. At his insistence and in the spirit of trying I went on the apps, found a guy and set up a dick appointment.

I found him attractive and he was definitely skilled, but ultimately he was just a stranger and I got nothing out of the experience. I ended up just getting him off and then leaving. I remember on the way home thinking I wish I could see the appeal of this stuff the way my friends do.

I've been in my relationship for over a decade now and my eyes have never once wandered.

Being open works for me and my partner just fine.

Some couples work better being open, some couples work better being closed. Different strokes for different folks.

open bc when I met my husband I was 22 (he was 30) and I still wanted to have lots of sex with other guys before settling down for one D only for the rest of my life

we're 27 and 35 now, and it still works for us chick1 it's all about open communication and knowing that, at some point, one (or both) of us might change their mind and we'll need to review where we're standing

So if you wanted to have lots of sex with other guys then why get into a marriage so early on?? Doesn't that defeat the point?
