It could be worse. During my first week in one my jobs I was listening to music at my office desk in my bluetooth headphones and realized that there was a double connection which I thought were left and right headphones. I went to the bathroom and when I was coming back to my office someone in the hallway said "who's ******* blasting that **** in the lounge?". Turns out the person who was assigned to my desk previously was in charge of putting lo-fi music and background noise in the lounge for the employees to chill and nobody told me. The PC was still connected to the audio speakers in the living room and hallways.

What I was listening to? Well, Lover had just came out and I picked up the album that day from the latter half of the tracklist. So I condemned all my coworkers to listen to ME, You Need To Calm Down and other tortures at 10am. I had to explicitly beg to not ask me about this incident at any point.
