I remember her friend (that guy that wrote Rivington is Ours) saying she cried after she went blonde because it was so orange and looked bad at first. Makes sense if this was an impromptu idea done at Vincent's favorite barbershop. rip He should've taken her to a nice salon, but straights don't think much about this kind of stuff.

    Dope is like a good wine. Suited for refined taste. Not everyone can savour it.

    I don't expect many in here to be able to appreciate it given that we just got McDonald's My Popeyes and 1000 Cokes stanning in the last pages

    I loved Dope when I was in my emotional/depressed/low self-esteem era. Now, it's too dark and sad for me.

    the most hilarious thing about Dope is that for years it was pointed to as the worst example of her vocal tendencies and then she went on to do way worse/more foghorny HWAAAAAAAAA type "jazz" vocals that ruined her ballads like Til It Happens To You (seriously there's a nice song in there if she sang it with I'll Never Love Again vocals, maybe Diane nibbled)

    The way on paper LoveDrug is a basic song (VCVC song structure, no bridge, predictable title / cliche) but then you listen to it and it stomps on half her discography. The production, the melody, the lyrics… she said let me show y'all how to make pop music.
