oh definitely. she thought she could pull a fast one like she did with the MCS after the superbowl in 2013. "people will wanna buy tickets to see me because of this big performance i just did, i dont need new music" (in this case coachella) but the hive was STARVING for music at that time so ppl were pretty displeased that she was on tour with no supporting album (i was one of them) when it was basically a new leg of the 4:44 tour.

there was another joint record made back before OTR I, but i believe it got scrapped when the marital issues began. somehow i feel like that one is probably better lol

When people talked about working on EIL, they spoke of assembling makeshift studios in the stadiums between shows. So, they definitely panicked and decided to throw an album together -- the tickets were moving slower than they expected. (Again, I reference her hilarious late-night meltdown where she spammed concert photos to her IG story until it quite literally cut her off because she hit the limit.)

I remember the earlier album you're talking about, too. I just Googled it and found this article.

According to TheBeyHiveTeam's Twitter account, which in the past has actually provided credible information about forthcoming releases by Beyonce, the Queen and Hov have completed a joint album. They also tweeted out lyrics from songs on it as well.

"We'll give you 2 lyrics from the joint album sessions. 2 different songs," BeyHiveTeam tweeted and then followed up with lyrics from a song. "'Hello...Hello....If you're looking for me, look up! I'm DRONING! ...Flying by all you b*****s...Skyin high.' (Prod. by Tricky & Dream)."

Apparently one of the songs is called "Where My Money" and has a line reading, "'Young BB. They hate to see me. Collect my rent from these chicks. Pass it off to my baby..... Blue.' #IRS #WhereMyMoney." The Twitter account also gave hints to themes presented on the album.

"Marriage Counseling. Tennis Courts. Mansion. Therapy. Battle. Screaming. Accusations. Regret. Trust Issues. Celebrity. Visual Album. Film," the tweet relayed. "And that's the last clue we will give until it's presented. Period."

That is probably the closest we will ever come to her having a public meltdown. I wonder when it would've stopped if the limit didn't set in

You could tell that EIL was quickly thrown together, so that they could have sumn to play at the tour (and they still missed the deadline nnn).

You're all fooling yourselves if you think a well-planned, polished, and carefully crafted Jayoncé album wouldn't live up to her usual standards.

EIL is my least my favorite Beyonce related album because of how thrown together it actually was. Lowkey happy is flopped the way it did so she would learn that we wouldn't just take anything just because her name was on it.

I agree that a well planned, polished and crafted Jayoncé album would be great. BUT, that can and should be its own thing. The trilogy is to HER name, we don't need The Carters added on to it at the end. I personally feel that even if it is an epic and amazing album, if it is "act-iii" it is going to be a disaster in many ways for the legacy of this trilogy (that wont be saved by the project excellence or even good commercial performance).
