My mom passed away last week. I know I mentioned her wanting to hear a Beyonce rock album as she has anticipated it for years, and I'm so sad she didn't get to hear it before she passed (if that's wha

I really hope we get it soon. My mom loves Beyonce, and her favorite genre is rock, she is SO excited. She just got diagnosed with terminal cancer, and I really hope she gets to hear the album while

Only a few more days before the surprise drop and followed by a surprise performance at her husband's concert on Saturday!

Visuals definitely would have helped Renaissance and CC stick around a lot longer than they did. Those albums for me are a flash in a pan, one and done, onto the next one type of albums. She's built a legacy around being a visual artist. To not even drop at least 1 video was so disappointing to see as a fan.

There's this online discourse about how she doesn't owe us anything but the fact of the matter is, we buy her products. We see her shows, we fund her lifestyle, we got her to where she is. I cant help but think she should at least listen to what most of her fans want. A crumb would be nice instead of radio silence lol

"She doesn't own us anything"

Then we don't own her loyalty, money or attention

She does not owe us anything lol. You buy a ticket, she owes you a show. You buy an LP, she owes you a record. You buy her merch, well that's on you.

I was with you until "Flash in a pan", if this is Renny shade then I WILL be downvoting. Someone confirm

At the end of the day Beyonce has Charisma and her being missing makes pop culture boring. It's not like her being absent from being visible will make people stop saying weird **** about her or stop her from being the center of attention. Beyonce is literally always a topic whether good or bad. The young stans all be having her name in their mouths and be typing away about her on the internet. She is a 44 year old woman and still gets the GP and stans attention which is not always the case for every Artist. She also still gets treated as a modern artist even though she has been in the industry since the late 90's. I wonder if Bey thinks she is a legacy act in her head lmao.

Idk if I buy that it's taking her this long to film. Renaissance was 4 years ago…she filmed the B'Day anthology in two weeks. Shes shown she's more organized and intentional than this. Taking 4 years to work on a film on and off doesn't seem very Beyoncé of her

More and more my theory of Nadia makes the most sense

I read it more as how fast Beyoncé abandons the album after release

Right. "Flash in the pan" when we had Black Star, Through the Wall, The BPM, That's Showbiz Baby!, Midnight Sun and even Eusexua last year, which all took cues from Renaissance in some way or another. Her work lives through the work of others and that's the biggest accomplishment.

Do we think Beyonce will promote Talrico for Texas senate? The Texas senate race will be close and people think Talrico won't get black women's votes due to Jasmine getting whooped in the primary. If Beyonce uses her last bit of influence before she drops below 300 million on Instagram she may give him the boost he needs with the black Texas vote. I hope she doesn't wait until the very last hour on election day to promote like she did that one year with Biden or Beto—I forgot which one. She clearly doesn't care to promote non-black male politicians but now isn't the time to play identity politics especially with the crazy Republican who is running. I hope Kelly didn't get in her ear… Kelly voted for Jasmine.

hmmm not really sure I'd put Through the Wall in there unless Rochelle mentioned something about it in an interview that I missed. she was already deep in her dance era before Rennie dropped — TTW was more of a natural evolution where she was already heading

Beto O'Rourke is a white man. I think she will endorse him. Also, going below 300M wouldn't suddenly remove power, lol. Everyone on IG's losing followers due to bot removal.

if act 3 is going to be a rock record….

Imagine a song with Avril Lavigne. chick2

This is why people don't take you seriously. If you were a troll, you'd at least try to be funny, so you come across as either 1) unknowledgeable or 2) like a secret hater posing as a fan.

You can post all the listening stats you want, but posts like this speak for themselves.

My coins are ready for act 3… of Beyonce wants them she better act soon

I actually prefer B'Day anthology to a lot of her more recent visual work. There's something about Beyonce that shines when there is an immediacy, where she doesn't have time or scope to over think and goes into performance mode rather than concept mode.

You feel closer to her creativity in way, and her personality. I think that's true even in basic videos like Ego. I mean $20 dollar and a dream, but she shines, in a way I don't think she does as much as visuals for BIK for example. Although there are many highlights.

i don't agree but i get what you mean. mic and a light vibes vs the spectacle.

i think deja vu finds a good medium though. that video is still visually stunning tbh!

I mean, it's not like she tried to do Renaissance, but she's a Beyoncé fan (just like Zara and Jade) so it's inevitable to be inspired. The Fader also wrote this:

Beyoncé's Renaissance helped execs understand her music

Jordan's music didn't always land with label executives trying to put her in a profitable box. Evan Nicole Brown writes that Jordan recounted, "countless instances of hearing 'no' and being made to feel like she didn't have an audience, which she credits with her vision being misunderstood by executives, but also with the broader culture's reluctance to celebrate a Black woman in house and dance music before albums like Beyoncé's Renaissance helped awaken the public to the possibility."

And even the aesthetic feel very Renaissance:

My bestie @beyonceparkwood knew that part was just a kii, but I know they get the same accusations as me so whatever smh. Just answer the question please! Do you think she will remain silent this go around? I have a bad feeling she will, and I've said multiple times celebrities have little influence on elections, but this time I do believe she has pull.

baby it's not going to be that kind of rock suburban

I've said it before but I need her to serve at least one 80s glam rock fantasy moment.
